On December 15, the Client Reporter of the South China Morning Post learned from the Development and Reform Commission of the Autonomous Region that the Notice of the Office of the Inter-ministerial Joint Conference on the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles in Guangxi on the Announcement of the List of Demonstration Creations for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles in Guangxi (The First Batch) was officially issued recently. According to the expert review opinions, Nanning City, Liuzhou City, Luzhai County, Liucheng County, Tianhe County and other counties were identified as demonstration cities and counties for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles in Guangxi; 17 units (stations) such as Nanning Bus Taxi Co., Ltd. were identified as demonstration sites for the promotion and application of new energy vehicles in Guangxi.
The reporter learned from the Nanning Municipal Development and Reform Commission that the development momentum of new energy vehicles in Nanning is good. As of the end of November this year, the number of new energy vehicles in Nanning was 50,394, of which the increase in new energy vehicles from January to the end of November 2021 was 24,763, and 3,819 charging piles were built, all of which ranked first in the region.
It is understood that in the next step, Guangxi will give preferential support to demonstration units from the construction of major projects, energy consumption index arrangements, new energy project construction plans, county-level high-quality economic development classification assessments, and new energy vehicle promotion and application subsidy declarations in accordance with the "Guangxi New Energy Vehicle Promotion and Application Demonstration Recommendation Work Plan".
