On December 15, 30 Yutong Hydrogen Energy Buses equipped with the "Hydrogen Teng" fuel cell system independently developed by the State Power Investment Hydrogen Energy Company were officially delivered to Hydrogen Power Technology Service Co., Ltd., which will soon start the journey of green transportation protection in Yanqing.
The 30 hydrogen energy buses departed from Zhengzhou, Henan, crossed the Yellow River, crossed the Great Wall, and waded through mountains and water for more than 800 kilometers to Complete delivery in Yanqing, Beijing. These hydrogen energy buses are all 11-meter-long tourist cars, carrying 46 people, equipped with air intake bags, luxury seats, ultra-low temperature heat pumps, cold and warm air conditioning, and are very comfortable to ride. The hydrogen energy bus is the first batch of cooperation between the State Power Investment Hydrogen Energy Company and Yutong Bus, the hydrogen energy bus only takes 10 minutes to fill the hydrogen, the total mileage can reach 630 kilometers, which can meet the needs of most urban passenger transportation scenes, green environmental protection, long-lasting operation. According to Xu Guangyan, manager of the Beijing branch of Yutong Group, in addition to the first batch of 30 vehicles delivered, it is expected that the delivery of the remaining 70 hydrogen energy buses will be completed by the end of the year.
It is worth mentioning that the "Hydrogen" FCS80 fuel cell system carried by the hydrogen energy bus has achieved material-level full autonomy. In order to cope with the extreme climatic conditions that may occur in the Yanqing area of the Winter Olympics, the hydrogen energy bus can start at a low temperature of minus 30 °C, and the performance is comparable to the international leading level.
Along with the hydrogen energy bus, there are also three COMAC drones equipped with the "Hydrogen Teng" air-cooled fuel cell system - Lingque-H, ET120 and GT30. These hydrogen-powered UAVs have the characteristics of zero carbon emissions, low temperature resistance, long endurance, etc., which can realize intelligent network operation and can be applied to inspection, aerial photography, unmanned freight and other fields. It is reported that the three unmanned aerial vehicles will be "air-ground joint" with hydrogen energy buses to provide Yanqing with power system inspection and transportation capacity support during the Winter Olympics.
It is understood that during the Beijing Winter Olympics, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou will invest more than 700 hydrogen fuel buses to provide transportation service guarantees. For the development prospects of the hydrogen energy industry, Zhang Yinguang, general manager of the State Power Investment Hydrogen Energy Company, expects that 2025 will be the inflection point of the hydrogen energy industry, and 2025 to 2035 will usher in a period of rapid development.
