On December 15, Toyota Motor Corporation announced its production plans for January 2022. It plans to produce about 800,000 new vehicles, and its target of 9 million vehicles in fiscal 2021 remains unchanged.
For Toyota, this is the second month of full resumption of production, after about 800,000 units were planned to be produced in December 2021. Toyota plans to produce 9 million vehicles in fiscal 2021, and the plan remains unchanged. For reference, global production in January 2021 was 740,000 units. Models with close relations with domestic users include all Lexus imported cars, Toyota GR86, Toyota SUPRA, etc.; models with close relations with international users include Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Sienna, etc.
