Shanghai's first district-level digital transformation policy was released, and the scope of support includes three aspects

On December 14, the 2021 Shanghai Digital Innovation Conference was held at the Shanghai Changfeng Transnational Procurement Convention and Exhibition Center.

At the meeting site, Shanghai Tsinghua International Innovation Center released China's science and technology innovation brain, and the Putuo District Science and Technology Commission issued the "Implementation Opinions on Supporting Digital Transformation and Development in Putuo District" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Opinions"). This is the first district-level digital transformation special policy in Shanghai, and it is also an important institutional innovation for Putuo District to build the "Digital Wisdom Putuo" brand. The Yangtze River Delta Fintech Research Institute was officially inaugurated, and the 360 security headquarters in Shanghai will officially set sail.

Li Wenbo, director of the Science and Technology Commission of Putuo District, revealed that the "Implementation Opinions" start from the demand side and supply side of digital transformation, and strive to create a digital ecological atmosphere in which multiple subjects compete to participate through the guidance of new projects, new industries and new infrastructure. The scope of support includes three aspects: one is to be demand-oriented and promote digital empowerment of thousands of industries; the second is to support the landing of new digital formats, new paths and new models in Putuo; the third is to accelerate the construction of new infrastructure and provide a high-speed ubiquitous and intelligent integration bearing foundation for digital transformation.

The "Implementation Opinions" will support project construction, innovation incentives, platform construction and publicity and promotion.

The Putuo District Government said that since Shanghai launched the comprehensive promotion of urban digital transformation in 2021, Putuo District has focused on the digital transformation of the three major areas of economy, life and governance, and created a "Haina Town" digital transformation demonstration zone, gathering a number of leading enterprises such as JD.com, 360 and Ali Digital. Up to now, Putuo District has built 75 application scenarios of various types, 39 are under construction, and 44 are planned to be built.
