Whenever I think of Sanxingdui, I can't help but wonder, is it a kind of "lost password"?
As the largest, longest-lasting and richest cultural site of ancient cities, ancient countries and ancient Shu cultures found in southwest China, sanxingdui sites are known as one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of mankind in the 20th century, indicating that the Yangtze River Basin and the Yellow River Basin belong to the same matrix of Chinese civilization, and are known as the "source of Yangtze River civilization".
But what puzzles the world is that in the thousands of years of history, in every dynasty site that time has flowed, there is almost no figure or record of Sanxingdui.
As we all know, 30 degrees north latitude has always been a mysterious area, the Mayan civilization, the Egyptian pyramids, the Babylonian "Hanging Gardens"... All are above this latitude, and Sanxingdui is also near it (104.2 degrees east longitude, 31 degrees north latitude).
Regarding the mystery and splendor of the Maya civilization, Westerners have studied it for an unknown number of years, and its sudden disappearance has many unsolved mysteries. Nowadays, the ancient East has also appeared the incredible Sanxingdui civilization, which makes people have to marvel, not admire, and not shock.
Some netizens have compared some of the cultural relics unearthed in Sanxingdui with the Mayan civilization and the Egyptian civilization, and found some very strange similarities.
When I was in the Sanxingdui Museum, it was as if I had stepped into an unknown mysterious space.
"Sleep for three thousand years, wake up and shock the world."
I once described the Zeng Houyi Exhibition Hall in the Hubei Provincial Museum as a large-scale display of wealth by Zeng Houyi, but the Sanxingdui Museum can be described as the "ultimate hao" and "extreme strangeness" of this ancient civilization.
What is "Extreme Hao"? Gold, copper, jade, stone, pottery, especially the fifth and sixth units of the exhibition hall, are a feast for the eyes and a big surprise, but even more shocking is the bronze hall of "Samsung Yongyao - The Mysterious Bronze Kingdom".
What is "Extreme Odd"? Most of the huge masks and shapes unearthed by Sanxingdui are unique in the world, and each one is "bone clear".
Such as bronze longitudinal mask, gold mask bronze human head, standing portrait, bronze human figure, bronze sacred tree, golden mask, golden staff, big jade zhang, etc.
However, among all the cultural relics unearthed, most of them have never been seen before, leading many netizens to speculate that this will not be a mysterious civilization left in the country of Tianfu?
Archaeologists have deduced that the Sanxingdui civilization is dating from the late Xia Dynasty to the Shang Zhou Dynasty, which is 5,000 to 3,000 years old. But what kind of civilization is this? It's still a mystery.
Sanxingdui has been shrouded in mystery since 1986, when Chinese archaeologists discovered two pits in Guanghan, Sichuan Province, and excavated thousands of cultural relics of about 3,000 years old from them.
In the beginning, archaeologists designated sanxingdui sites no. 1 and 2 as "sacrificial pits." But why the owner of Sanxingdui dug a pit, there are no verifiable remains at the scene, archaeologists are not at odds with this.
The exaggerated and unique bronze and gold masks, as well as the lack of written records, make people suspicious.
With the discovery of other cultural relics and the continuous research of archaeologists, the Sanxingdui site has allowed the world to see a civilization that has disappeared for a thousand years, and it also makes people wonder whether this will be the remnants of the ancient Shu Kingdom.
At present, this is still a kind of "hypothesis" in the academic community to consider the object of study, and some experts believe that it is a symbol of the ancient Shu civilization. The appearance of half a golden mask adds a great empirical evidence to the ancient Shu civilization. Because the worship of gold in the ancient Shu civilization is very significant.
But what struck me the most was the huge bronze longitudinal mask.
How "huge" is it?
It is 1.38 meters wide.
Such a huge mask is obviously not something that mortals can possess. It grinned, smiled in confusion, and looked like it was looking at the world and giving up on me. Staring at it, I can't help but think, where are you from? Why did it suddenly disappear? When is it really soft to come, to walk gently, not to take away a cloud?
And the bronze sacred tree with a "sense of crossing" can be called the most beautiful value among the excavated cultural relics, it is like a magic weapon, with nine sacred birds on it.
"Nine", represented honor in ancient China, is mostly related to the emperor. And "the heavens are nine days, the earth is nine continents, the moon is nine paths, and the sun has nine lights", this bronze sacred tree fascinated me more and more.
Is there any other artifact between the bronze statues of the bronze statues "overlooking all sentient beings"? So what would it be?
What is the Samsung Pile Golden Wand? The scepter of an ancient wizard?
What role does the bronze solar shaper, whether it's the Hot Wheel or the steering wheel, play? In the face of these mysterious "piles", although I have a hunting heart, I am just a layman who watches the hilarity.
Although the Sanxingdui civilization has left us with unlimited mysterious reverie and unknown space, one thing that can prove is that in the face of history, our understanding and mastery are very few, and the birth and development of ancient civilizations far exceed our cognition and imagination.
