What is it that makes our archaeologists and the country very confused and dare not easily excavate the tomb? In fact, it is because of some surprising discoveries that we began to attach great importance to and awe of ancient tombs, especially imperial tombs. Ma Wangdui surprised the "wet corpse"
In 1972, archaeologists, with the consent of the state, planned to excavate a historic tomb in Changsha, Hunan Province, Mawangdui, hoping to draw some surprising discoveries from it. Just after the archaeologists entered the tomb, they found that the inside was very large, and there were some materials and seals that proved that this ancient tomb was the tomb of Cang Li, the prime minister of Changsha in the Western Han Dynasty, and there should also be his wife and children in the tomb. However, not long after people entered, they were disappointed to find that the main tomb where Cang Li Zai was stored had already been destroyed by the tomb robbers, not only the coffin was cracked, but even the bones were excavated and scattered on the ground, which was unbearable to see.

Tufuzi helped to make "live rice dumplings"
Archaeologists really have no way to take this coffin, and when they are at a loss, some people think of a special group, which is the local Tufuzi in Hunan, who initially supported themselves by digging up loess, and then inadvertently found that there were some bronzes in the loess, which were far more valuable than loess.
Driven by interests, some Tufuzi later began to become tomb robbers, shuttling through some ancient tombs, so in the mining of ancient tombs, the expertise and experience of these Tufuzi may exceed that of archaeologists. Someone proposed to find these Tufuzi to help clean the coffin, but at first everyone was reluctant to do so, but after careful consideration, they finally decided to seek tufuzi's support.
After Tufuzi rushed to the scene, he looked at the coffin and was very excited to tell the archaeologists around him: "There must be live rice dumplings here", the "living rice dumplings" in Tufuzi's mouth is actually a "wet corpse", simply looking at the coffin can conclude that there are "living rice dumplings" inside, archaeologists are very curious, do not believe The words of Tufuzi.
But it didn't matter, soon Tufuzi proved his judgment, he three times five divided by two to get this coffin out, opened a look, everyone present was stunned, there was actually a well-preserved woman's body lying inside, it seems that her skin is still very normal, not much different from normal people.
With such a surprising discovery, all the people present were surprised and delighted, this is a major archaeological discovery, but how to reasonably preserve this female corpse? All of a sudden it started to get tricky again, and people didn't know how to be good.
A mistake is a thousand years of hatred
Because of the lack of relevant experience, when unearthing some cultural relics inside, people do not have enough good ways of protection, such as some of the well-preserved silk, because they are not well sealed and preserved, and after going out to see the sun, it corrodes, and this female corpse is the same, it is not well preserved enough, it is placed outside for people to appreciate, and even some people will touch the female corpse.

What is even more puzzling is how the female corpses in the Mawangdui can still be preserved so well for nearly two thousand years, and some people even say that there was a jar in the Mawangdui at that time, and there were fresh lotus pieces in the Mawangdui, how could such lotus pieces be preserved so well?
These are all unsolved mysteries, and perhaps the understanding of these things can give us a new understanding of the economy and scientific level of the Han Dynasty, but when our technology does not reach a better level, the main thing we can do is to maintain reverence for the ancients and not to easily disturb them.
