During the excavation, a jar of lotus soup was also found. Miraculously, when the lid was opened, the can of lotus soup disappeared in an instant.
In fact, at the time of excavation, archaeologists found some leaves in the soil 10 meters deep from the ground, and these leaves were found to be leaves that fell on the ground more than 2,000 years ago after the determination of carbon fourteen. To know that a green leaf has not decayed for nearly 2,000 years, and even has maintained a bright green appearance, is indeed incredible.
And understand that in real life, if a leaf falls on the ground, it will not take long to be quickly decomposed and dissipated, and finally it will really become mud. If this leaf can be preserved so well for two thousand years, it means that there must be some other species under the soil that have not decayed for thousands of years. Sure enough, archaeologists have discovered three more tombs in the process of excavation. Tomb No. 2 is the mausoleum of Li Cang, the king of Changsha, the first tomb is the territory of Lady Xin Chai, and the third tomb is their son, the future Changsha Wang Xiangxiang.
To talk about the life of the tomb owner Xin Chai and her husband Li Cang, we have to start from more than two thousand years. Therefore, for the sake of Cangsheng, Li Cang suggested to the king of Changsha at that time that he send an army to defeat Yingbu and quell the rebellion by the way. With the help of Li Cang, the rebellion was finally suppressed. And Li Cang, who has made great achievements, has also been crowned as a waiting man by victory, and he is the first generation of waitress in history.
In ancient times, it was said that the wife was honored by her husband, and her husband became the Marquis, and Xin Chai naturally became the Lady of The Waiting. Interestingly, compared with her husband, Xin Chai's name is more well known to modern people, only because after more than two thousand years, only Xin Chai's mausoleum is very well preserved, and her entire body is obviously in a fairly humid environment, but it is still not decaying in this case, even after two thousand years, people can still faintly see her more elastic skin.
To tell you about it, when she first excavated it, Xin Chai's finger joints could still rotate flexibly, and even the blood vessels around her body did not dry up. Most importantly, Xin Chai's internal organs have been very well preserved, and there is no sign of movement at all, which is very rare in the entire archaeological community.
Legend has it that Xin Chai was an authentic foodie before her death, so in her tomb, it is not difficult to find some traces of foodies, in this ancient tomb, beef and mutton are not surprising, the most unexpected thing is that they found the meat of roasted sika deer, the meat of roasted pigeons, and a jar of lacquerware boxes.
And this box is very well-made and elaborate, so that when people see it at first glance, they will actively think of the cosmetics box that may be Mrs. Xin Chai. But what people never expected was that after the box was opened, it was just some food, which was enough to prove that Xin Chai did not forget the essence of eating food before dying.
In the tomb, archaeologists also found a small jar. And you may never think that when archaeologists opened this clay pot, they unexpectedly found that it was a pot of lotus soup that had existed for 2,000 years. Although this pot of lotus soup emitted a truly indescribable smell years later. But at the moment of opening the seal, it still stunned everyone. I saw that these lotus slices were as white as jade, and each slice was so smooth and full, just like a freshly boiled lotus soup.
However, after opening, this pot of lotus soup immediately lost its original luster, suddenly became eclipsed, and finally turned into water. Fortunately, there was a photographer who acted quickly, and he took a very precious photo in just a few seconds, otherwise we would not have been able to really witness the style of the can of lotus soup.
Many people may have to ask, why do many things found in archaeology not fade and deteriorate underground for thousands of years, but once they see the light of day again, they immediately lose their luster?
When archaeologists excavated the Terracotta Warriors of Qin Shi Huang, those life-size terracotta warriors were still covered with colorful colors, but after the cave was opened, these colors immediately lost their luster in just a few minutes, and finally became the gray and white clay color we saw.

This is why the can of lotus soup quickly changes color or even turns into soup after being dug up.
In the ancient tomb of Xin Chai, a very remarkable object was also found, that is, the excavation of the plain gauze thin coat, which was a very light dress, which looked like a translucent color, which showed the superb silk weaving art at that time. It is rumored that this dress weighs no more than 1 two and is the lightest and thinnest ancient silk fabric in the world.
Before the unearthing of this dress, many scholars have always thought that the production technology of this plain gauze thin coat was imported from abroad, but after the unearthing of this dress, it was effectively confirmed that as early as 2,000 years ago, the silk weaving art of the mainland had long been far ahead of the world.
