"Han Dynasty Tombs Appear"
The more this matter spread more and more evil, it later reached the ears of the "Hunan Provincial Museum", and when the experts of the museum heard about it, they felt that the matter was not simple, because they dug a small hole in the "Mawangdui" and there was a high possibility that there might be an ancient tomb, and it was possible that it had been destroyed. The experts of the "Museum" rushed to the "Mawangdui" to do a lot of complicated preliminary work and prepare to start digging, and in this way, the thousand-year-old tomb was slowly unveiled.
On July 30, 1972, after many layers of formalities and approval, and a lot of preparatory work has been completed, archaeologists began to excavate from the first mound in the northeast, and after unveiling the soil covering the tomb, the archaeologists were amazed by the things that came into view. After a section of sloped burial passage and 4 steps, there is a rectangular burial chamber, which is tightly enclosed by a thick layer of white plaster mud. Archaeologists also found fresh leaves in it when they slowly dug up the white mud.
At first, experts thought that the nearby trees fell, but then the more leaves were dug up, and even a bamboo cage appeared, the experts understood that it was the leaves of ancient times, and they did not expect that these leaves had not decayed at all after so many years in the white paste mud, and even as fresh as the leaves that had just fallen. With this happening, archaeologists are extremely looking forward to the situation inside the burial chamber. After the white plaster mud was dug up layer by layer, a large amount of charcoal appeared, more than 5,000 pounds, and after the charcoal was cleared out, a huge rafter room wrapped in layers of 26 bamboo mats appeared in front of everyone.
After carefully opening the surface of the bamboo mat, a coffin 6.73 meters long, 4.9 meters wide and 2.8 meters high was fully displayed in front of the archaeologists, and the entire outer coffin was divided into 4 different areas by thick pine boards as raw materials into a "well" shape, and the surface was also painted with brilliant patterns. With the help of the burial lacquerware, archaeologists have preliminarily determined that this is a Han tomb with a history of more than 2,000 years. In the middle of the "well" shaped coffin, there is also a smaller coffin, like a "Russian matryoshka doll", tightly clasped in the middle.
The emergence of the "Mawangdui" Han tomb fully demonstrates the wisdom of the ancient people. After the experts transported the innermost coffin back to the museum, the experts who opened the coffin lid were dumbfounded, and what appeared in front of them was a corpse wrapped in layers of quilts. She opened her mouth slightly, as if she had just died, her skin was still a normal yellowish color, and even the hair on her head was still intact with a hairpin. Subsequently, medical experts did pathological testing for the female corpse, and found that the female corpse had various diseases before she died, including coronary heart disease, gallstones, tuberculosis, etc. The corpse had no signs of aging under the skin fat, and various signs indicated that the female corpse died of acute disease. This discovery has made great contributions to the history of diseases in ancient China and the history of medical development. Knowing how the owner of the tomb died, the next step must be to study the identity of the owner of the tomb.
To this end, experts examined a large number of lacquerware and all the drawings on the coffin, hoping to find the true identity of the tomb owner from these funerary objects. Lacquerware is the mainstay of funerary products, as well as a large number of silk, yarn, cotton and other textiles and embroideries, and a variety of clothes. Just when archaeologists were studying these clothes in order to verify the identity of the owner of the tomb, two national treasure-level cultural relics that shocked the world appeared.
At first, these two thin cicada-winged clothes were wrapped in thick cotton clothes, but when the experts sorted out the clothes one by one, they found that they were two thin cicada clothes, two cicada clothes were 128 cm long and 190 cm long with sleeves, but the weight was surprisingly light, only about 40 grams. What is surprising is that in the tomb for more than 2,000 years, these two pieces of Zen robes that are so thin have not been damaged, and they are still very soft and colorful.

"Tomb Owner Xin Chai"
With the discovery of these two pieces of clothing, let everyone be more curious about the identity of the tomb owner, in that turbulent era, can have such luxurious clothes, absolutely a member of the princes and nobles, the investigation continues to go deeper, after sorting out the funerary products, the expert found an inconspicuous seal, which is engraved with "concubine XinChai" It seems that the name of the tomb owner is called "Xinchai", but then the experts read a large number of Han Dynasty history records, but did not find this woman called "Xinchai". Just when the identity of "Xin Chai" became a mystery, another major discovery appeared.
Because when the "Xin Chao Tomb" was excavated at that time, people were too excited. But they ignored that there are actually two burial chambers next to them, so who are these two tombs? Can you unravel the mystery of the identity of "Xin Chai"? The three tombs were organized into Tombs No. 1, 2, and 3, and the tomb of "Xin Chai" was listed as Tomb No. 1, and then in the excavation of Tomb No. 2, it was found that the cultural relics were far inferior to Tomb No. 1, and most of the cultural relics inside had been corrupted and only some lacquerware remained. However, experts still found that several seals similar to Tomb No. 1 were also unearthed in Tomb No. 2, which were engraved with the words "Changsha Xiangxiang", "Seal of Waiting" and "Li Cang".
All kinds of indications show that the owner of this No. 2 tomb is the Han Dynasty Changsha State's minister "Yuanhou Licang", with the historical data of "Lihou Licang", it is found that "Licang" has a wife named "Xin Chai", and the identity of the owner of Tomb No. 1 has also surfaced, and she is "Li Cang"'s concubine "Xin Chai". The history books record that this "Li Cang" concubine "Xin Chai" was weak and sick since childhood, and later died of an acute illness in the palace. All the mysteries of all kinds have finally come out.
Tomb No. 3 was more seriously damaged, in addition to natural decay, a robbery hole was also found, causing Tomb No. 3 to be looted by thieves, leaving only the bones of a man of about 30 years old, which left a wooden plaque engraving the tomb buried in the 12th year of Emperor Wendi of Han, experts found according to the history books that the sons of "Li Cang" and "Xin Chai" were killed by Emperor Wen of Han in 12 years, and all indications also revealed the identity of the owner of Tomb No. 3, who was the son of "Li Cang". These three tombs are the family cemeteries of the Han Dynasty Changsha Xiang Xiang "Li Cang".
