After five months of basic exhibition renovation, the Sanxingdui Museum Bronze Hall reopened this week. The upgraded bronze hall, with the theme of "Dancing together with people and gods - the mysterious bronze kingdom", covers an area of about 4,000 square meters, and exhibits a total of 107 pieces (sets) of Sanxingdui fine bronze cultural relics. Through the change of exhibition methods and the increase of cultural relics, the ancient bronze civilization of Sanxingdui is more detailed.
The renovated and upgraded Bronze Hall of Sanxingdui Museum intuitively expounds the development process of bronze civilization around the world through naked-eye 3D screens and a large number of vivid image technologies, and guides visitors to understand the achievements of the bronze civilization of the ancient Shu people more than 3,000 years ago from a broader perspective.
The bronze altar (fragment) in front of you is the original national treasure exhibited for the first time after the renovation of the venue, and the background is supplemented by multimedia means to trace the scene of the ancient Shu civilization, attracting many viewers to understand the structure and cultural connotation of the altar. According to the museum staff, the bottom of the altar is a sacred beast, symbolizing the underworld, the middle wizard and the sacred mountain symbolize the human world, and the upper square bucket-shaped building is carved with a statue of a human head bird and a group of kneeling small figures, representing the ancient Shu people's imagination of heaven.
The whole artifact reflects the scene of the ancient Shu civilization sacrificing heaven and earth. The bronze human head with hairpins is also the first appearance, allowing viewers to better understand the style and use of hairpins in the ancient Shu period.
The re-arranged Sanxingdui Bronze Hall has a preface hall and five exhibition areas: "Susu Shrine", "Kingdom of the Gods", "Strange Secret Treasure", "Journey of the Heart" and "Mystery of Eternity". Through the addition of new exhibits, the display method is adjusted, giving the bronze cultural relics a new expressiveness. It is understood that with the resumption of the opening of the Bronze Museum, the ordinary ticket price of the Sanxingdui Museum will be restored to the original price of 72 yuan, the student ticket price will be restored to the original price of 36 yuan, and the ticket price of the park will not change.
