First, the overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market
In November 2021, the domestic market mobile phone shipments were 35.252 million units, an increase of 19.2% year-on-year, of which 5G mobile phones were 28.967 million units, an increase of 43.9% year-on-year, accounting for 82.2% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
From January to November 2021, the overall shipment of mobile phones in the domestic market totaled 317 million units, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year, of which 5G mobile phone shipments were 239 million units, an increase of 65.3% year-on-year, accounting for 75.3% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
In November 2021, 47 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, an increase of 34.3% year-on-year, of which 15 were 5G mobile phones, down 16.7% year-on-year, accounting for 31.9% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.
From January to November 2021, a total of 427 new models were listed, an increase of 3.1% year-on-year, of which 203 were 5G mobile phones, an increase of 2.0% year-on-year, accounting for 47.5% of the number of new models listed in the same period.
Second, the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market
In November 2021, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 28.041 million units, an increase of 23.6% year-on-year, accounting for 79.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 43 new models were listed, an increase of 53.6% year-on-year, accounting for 91.5% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.
From January to November 2021, the shipment volume of domestic brand mobile phones totaled 275 million units, an increase of 10.5% year-on-year, accounting for 86.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; the total number of new models listed was 388, an increase of 5.4% year-on-year, accounting for 90.9% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.
Third, the development of domestic smart phones
In November 2021, smartphone shipments were 34.841 million units, up 25.7% year-on-year, accounting for 98.8% of mobile phone shipments in the same period. From January to November 2021, smartphone shipments were 310 million units, an increase of 14.7% year-on-year, accounting for 97.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
IT Home learned that in November 2021, 33 new models of smartphones were listed, an increase of 13.8% year-on-year, accounting for 70.2% of the number of new models listed on mobile phones in the same period. From January to November 2021, a total of 358 new smartphone models were listed, an increase of 11.9% year-on-year, accounting for 83.8% of the number of new models listed in the same period.
