Last weekend, I went to the scene with the designer and witnessed the completion of a kindergarten large outdoor toy.
In our childhood, trees, sand, slides, swings, high places in buildings, and various holes are all places to leave happy memories, and these childhood favorite elements are in the large outdoor toys of Huilong Yayuan Kindergarten.

Huilong Yayuan Kindergarten is a public kindergarten supporting the community, which will be put into use in 2021, and there are no large outdoor facilities in the original space, providing a new experience for children's play and learning.
The yellow-and-white facilities are located in the northwest corner of the kindergarten, using colors that echo the yellow walls of the kindergarten façade.
A L-shaped double-decker space is erected on the original flat ground through a steel structure, and a climbing cage is used to connect with the facility above the sand pool, and the route above the facility forms a cycle.
The sand pool is both a toy and a buffer for slip buckets and climbing facilities.
The swing is also set in this area, and sitting barefoot on the swing gently swings, you can feel the sand flowing at your feet.
The slopes created by the height of the L-shaped space are also children's toys, and climbing ropes and climbing walls are set on these slopes, becoming one of the ways for children to ascend to the second floor.
In addition, children can choose different stairs to climb upwards.
The bottom of the L-shaped space provides a place for children to hide and seek, and the climbing nets and openings above give plenty of light below. There is also a climbing facility hidden here.
Two trees grow here, giving the site a special lease of life, and leaves that fall in autumn also become part of the facility.
Evening sunlight filters through the parapet above the facility, sprinkling light spots on the wooden boards, and the wood-colored floor is now changing into a new color.
The toys are not currently in use, standing quietly in the northwest corner of the kindergarten, waiting for the arrival of children in the near future.
