Don't dare to oppose China, and are you not willing to be pro-China? How exactly did vietnam become cocooned and self-bound?

Vietnam, a country of the Qin Dynasty.

Don't dare to oppose China, and are you not willing to be pro-China? How exactly did vietnam become cocooned and self-bound?

September 2, 1969, is the traditional National Day of North Vietnam. However, on this day, Ho Chi Minh, the founding leader of the North Vietnamese State, died of illness due to ineffective rescue.

When Ho Chi Minh's condition deteriorated sharply, although New China sent four medical teams to Hanoi to rush to rescue him, and Premier Zhou even personally inquired, he was still unable to return to Heaven. In view of the fact that September 2 is north Vietnam's national day and the struggle against the United States is at a critical juncture, in order to avoid domestic turmoil, the North Vietnamese government changed the date of Ho Chi Minh's death to September 3.

Ho Chi Minh's death was an irreparable loss to the North Vietnamese people, and both China and Vietnam were deeply saddened.

It is generally believed that Ho Chi Minh is a pro-China faction like a fake exchange, and is the biggest promoter of Sino-Vietnamese friendship. After the sino-Soviet war was completely turned against in 1959, China and the Soviet Union competed to aid North Vietnam in order to win the support of North Vietnam, which gradually intensified the struggle between the pro-Chinese and pro-Soviet factions in North Vietnam. As the leader of the Communist Party of Indochina, Ho Chi Minh had long relied on his prestige to balance relations between the two factions, and worked hard to mediate Sino-Soviet contradictions and maintain North Vietnam's "neutral" position between China and the Soviet Union.

However, when Ho Chi Minh died, there was no soul in charge of the overall situation, Vietnam quickly "one-sided" towards the Soviet Union under the leadership of the pro-Soviet leader Le Thanh, and Sino-Vietnamese relations deteriorated rapidly, culminating in the fierce Sino-Vietnamese War in 1979.

Therefore, ho Chi Minh's death was the fuse of the sino-Vietnamese war, and the relations between the two countries will never return to the past.

Is this really the case? Silent Night History thinks of course it really isn't.

Don't dare to oppose China, and are you not willing to be pro-China? How exactly did vietnam become cocooned and self-bound?

Although as a socialist country, Sino-Vietnamese relations also have a threefold relationship in the traditional sense, that is, "diplomatic relations" in the general sense, "friendship" between the party and the party and "personal friendship" between leaders, and the relationship between Ho Chi Minh and leaders such as Premier Zhou is indeed extraordinary. So we have reason to believe that Ho Chi Minh's death was an important factor in the deterioration of Sino-Vietnamese relations.

But the problem is that the gap in Sino-Vietnamese relations did not begin in 1969, but a process of quantitative change leading to qualitative change. And more importantly, Ho Chi Minh himself is not a pro-China faction from the beginning to the end.

This sounds bizarre, but it makes sense. As Churchill repeatedly emphasized: "There are no eternal friends, no eternal enemies, only eternal interests", and this is especially true of relations between countries. As the founding leader of North Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh was first and foremost a spokesman for the collective will of the North Vietnamese people, whose relations with their northern neighbors had been complex since ancient times.

In this world, although Puerto Rico is helpless to find a way to join the United States, there is also Guyana's dependence on the self-reliance of French colonial rule. But for Vietnam, the feelings for its northern neighbors have never been exhausted.

From 111 BC, after Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty destroyed South Vietnam and incorporated northern Vietnam into the territory of the Central Plains Dynasty, for more than 2,000 years, Vietnam and its northern neighbors have experienced ups and downs of "internal subordinates", "clans", "brothers", "old enemies" and then "strange neighbors", and the love and hatred between the two countries have also been divided into three bones.

Like almost all countries in the Chinese cultural circle, for thousands of years, even the vassals that maintained an independent status were inextricably linked to the Central Plains Dynasty. This is particularly evident in recent history, such as the Sino-French War, where an important purpose was to compete for suzerainty over Vietnam, and the result of the war was that the undefeated and defeated Qing Dynasty lost its suzerainty over Vietnam, and France naturally became the new master of Vietnam.

Therefore, for modern Vietnam, the first problem to be solved is "orthodoxy", which requires Vietnam to draw a clear line with its northern neighbor and thus highlight its independence.

Therefore, although Ho Chi Minh fought in the land of China for a long time, when North Vietnam was established, Ho Chi Minh immediately accelerated the pace of "de-Chinese characterization" on the basis of the French colonists, and gradually broke off relations with his northern neighbors, which became the biggest foreshadowing of Ho Chi Minh's lack of pro-China.

After Ho Chi Minh's death, the Le Thanh government stepped up its collusion with the Soviet Union and, with the strong support of the Soviet Union, successfully achieved the reunification of north and south Vietnam after the withdrawal of U.S. troops.

As the political and economic center of the French colonial rule, South Vietnam was also the base camp of the US military during the US-Vietnam War, so the long-term Westernization of the culture shock has made South Vietnam a "yellow skin and white heart" of the four different. Although north Vietnam could eliminate the puppet government of South Vietnam, it was impossible to change the color of South Vietnam. Even when the size of north and south Vietnam was "equal", it was difficult for North Vietnam to completely eliminate even the elite class of South Vietnam, and could only form a "coalition government" with it, which laid the foundation for the two ends of Vietnam's later first rats.

After the reunification of North and South Vietnam, Vietnam's "de-Sinicization" became more unscrupulous, typically manifested in the launch of a large-scale wave of Chinese exclusion in the south and even provoking incidents on the northern border.

According to Vietnamese textbooks, the Vietnamese are the descendants of The Yan Emperor, and at first glance they are of the same origin as the descendants of The Yan Huang, but Vietnam, as a country bent on highlighting its independence, does not want to become the next Puerto Rico, otherwise Vietnam as "ancient Guyana" has no need to toss at all, and what Vietnam wants is "the emperors of the north and the south".

According to the Vietnamese side, the South Vietnamese state destroyed by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was the origin of Vietnamese civilization, and the extremely powerful South Vietnamese occupied the south of the Yangtze River, and together with the Goryeo Empire that rode horses north of the Yangtze River, forced the Chinese nation to create a Chinese civilization that shocked the world in the blue waves of the Yangtze River.

In the real world, Vietnam, after taking advantage of the turmoil of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms to break away from the Southern Han Dynasty in 938, stepped up its invasion of the Central Plains Dynasty, especially during the Northern Song Dynasty, which plundered Liangguang and Guangdong, which disgraced the Northern Song Dynasty. When the Yuan Dynasty was born, the Central Plains Dynasty entered the era of great unification for more than 800 years, and Vietnam not only had no possibility of committing a northern invasion, but had to face the huge pressure of the Central Plains Dynasty's Taishan for many years, as well as large-scale conquests that could subvert Vietnam at any time.

So with the sea to the east and the Chor Son Mountains to the west, Vietnam began to expand wildly southward, seizing large tracts of land from Chenla after destroying the state-lined Champa city, and even controlling the Phnom Penh Dynasty, the successor of Chenla, in the 18th century.

During the more than 800 years of barbaric growth on the Indochina Peninsula, Vietnam strengthened its centralization of power internally, and while paying tribute to the Central Plains Dynasty externally, it also built a "Southern Heaven Small China" with Vietnam as the core.

Then, the fruits of Vietnam's aggressive expansion were packaged and accepted by the French colonists, and their efforts against the Central Plains Dynasty came to an end. Subsequently, under the "guidance" of the French colonialists, Vietnam began a process similar to Japan's "departure from Asia and entry into Europe".

Under the impetus of France, Vietnam began to abolish Chinese characters, gradually severing relations with the Central Plains Dynasty, and profoundly affecting Vietnam's diplomatic choices after independence.

Ho Chi Minh came from a middle-class family and had the opportunity to study in France and see the outside world. But after coming to France, Ho Chi Minh was enthusiastic about the United States, especially President Wilson's "Fourteen Principles", which Ho Chi Minh believed was the only way for Vietnam to fight for independence and freedom.

In contrast, Ho Chi Minh's "national" performance was dismissed by the Soviet Union, and although the Communist Party of Vietnam (formerly known as the Communist Party of Indochina) was also a branch of the Communist International, the Soviet-Vietnamese relations were not close, and Stalin even once regarded Ho Chi Minh as "Tito on the Indochina Peninsula".

During World War II, in order to combat Japanese fascism, the United States vigorously supported Ho Chi Minh's guerrilla warfare, and Ho Chi Minh also strengthened his determination to follow the United States. But the problem is that after World War II, the United States, as a superpower, did not prioritize North Vietnamese interests from the perspective of global domination, such as promoting the surrender of the 16th parallel north of China and Britain, which disappointed Ho Chi Minh. In order to expel the Nationalist government in Nanjing and win true independence, Ho Chi Minh even joined hands with the French colonists.

But the problem was that the French colonists wanted only the indochina colony, so the Franco-Vietnamese war was on the verge of breaking out.

In order to avoid the "fall" of the Indochina Peninsula, the Soviet Union pushed New China to support the North Vietnamese resistance to France, eventually forcing France to withdraw its troops in 1954.

After france rolled up and left, the United States made up for the throne, and North Vietnam continued the 20-year War of Resistance Against the United States, and Sino-Soviet relations also turned against each other during this period.

As far as North Vietnam was concerned, New China, out of the consideration of "cold lips and cold teeth, and dangerous households", was bound to resolutely support the North Vietnamese anti-aggression war. However, it is inevitable that North Vietnam will try to unify South Vietnam and restore the territory of Indochina, because thousands of years of experience tell us that the power in the Indochina Peninsula must be a major problem for the southern frontier and the South China Sea.

The Soviet Union, out of the need to encircle New China, never skimped on its support for North Vietnam, which was also the fundamental factor in the final complete fall of the Lê Thanh government to the Soviet Union.

However, the Soviet Union was able to give guns and guns slogans, but it also gave Vietnam a "complete childhood".

After the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States in 1979, the Chinese leader visited the United States and informed the United States that we were about to "punish" Vietnam, and then the United States, which was shocked, had to respond urgently.

For New China, even if Vietnam has experienced decades of war and tempering, even if it is a veritable "third military power", it is still not enough in our eyes. What we are worried about is still the Soviet Union in the north, especially the million troops on the border of Chen Bing all year round, although the Soviet Union has never dared to go south after the Battle of Zhenbao Island, but after all, the Soviet Union and Vietnam formed a military alliance in 1978, and there is an obligation of "Vietnam has a problem, the Soviet Union intervenes", so the situation of the dog jumping the wall still has to be considered.

Therefore, on February 17, 1979, after the outbreak of the self-defense counterattack against Vietnam, the United States, as a "tool man", strictly adhered to neutrality, but also issued a statement opposing hegemonism and urging both sides to withdraw their troops.

Although the opposition to hegemony spoken from the mouth of the United States was unbearable, and the power value was instantly halved, the Soviet Union, which was "intentional to listen", once again "retreated from difficulties", leaving its ally Vietnam to endure a month of saturation violence.

Because during the War of Resistance against France and the War of Resistance Against the United States, especially during the War of Resistance Against the United States, the United States was afraid of the new China's troops, and the ground troops never dared to cross the 17th parallel, so the Vietnamese industrial system aided by China and the Soviet Union was almost distributed in the Northern Red River Plain. This meant that after the outbreak of the Sino-Vietnamese War, these industries, which accounted for more than 90% of Vietnam's industrial output, bore the brunt of it, and Vietnam returned to its pre-liberation period in January.

After the end of the large-scale campaign war, China and Vietnam launched a 10-year-long round war in the border areas of Lao Shan and ZheYin Mountain, forcing Vietnam to be threatened by war for many years and difficult to develop, missing out on the industrial transfer of developed countries again and again, the domestic economy was struggling on the brink of bankruptcy for a long time, and the Soviet Union also continued to shed blood on Vietnam's wounds. The reform and opening up of the northern neighbors has already started in a grand way, and the economy that has accumulated and developed has soared.

Coupled with the Soviet Union's troops from Afghanistan heading straight for the Indian Ocean, the Red Empire was finally about to collapse, and Vietnam completely lost its backing after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.

Although there is no backing, the dream fire of Vietnam is still burning, and it is impossible to control a few. Although the northward peaceward spiral finally crawled out of the quagmire of war and began economic recovery and construction, the problem was that if Vietnam wanted so-called homeland security, it had to strengthen itself, especially the reconstruction of the Indochina Federation, which was fundamentally opposed to the interests of its northern neighbors.

Not only that, after vietnam's reunification, North Vietnam took over the islands and reefs in the South China Sea that South Vietnam illegally stolen, and even more forcibly seized them, not only greatly increasing the strategic depth, but also changing the dilemma of Vietnam's lack of resources, and even making Vietnam an oil exporter.

The national rejuvenation of the northern neighbors is unstoppable, and Vietnam's "lifeblood" in the South China Sea will be "purified" in the future, so in order to avoid being "eunuchs", Vietnam must save itself and find a more powerful backer. And this patron, there is only one.

Although the 20-year US-Vietnam War has been fought to the death, and the Agent Orange sprinkled by the US military still makes many Vietnamese people feel bitter, the South Vietnamese elite as an agent of the United States joined the Vietnamese "coalition government", and with the Vietnam War turning to peace, the voice within Vietnam has been increasing day by day, gradually breaking the regime organizational structure of "The South Prime Minister, the North Secretary, and the Central Chairman".

Therefore, the "transformation of U.S.-Vietnam relations into jade" is almost a matter of course. In addition, the United States supported ASEAN to fight against the northern powers, and Vietnam was also among them, so Vietnam's "abandonment of Russia and investment in the United States" is not accidental.

But the problem is that Vietnam is too far from the United States and too close to China. After all, in order to achieve the purpose of encircling China, the United States does not care about the life and death of the small follower, if the fate is handed over to the United States, the future of Vietnam cannot be said to be very similar to Ukraine, but can only be said to be exactly the same.

Therefore, letting go of "obsession" and embracing the northern neighbor is undoubtedly the best choice. After all, since 1986, when it fully emulated its northern neighbors in implementing "innovation and opening up", Vietnam crossed the river with a rabbit, and its economic development was called a sound and colorful.

And more importantly, ASEAN has gradually come to realize who is the real hope, so in the face of the historical trend of Hao Hao Tang Tang, Vietnam's "Shun Zhi Chang" is beyond reproach.

However, in this way, Vietnam will completely abandon the efforts of the millennium and admit that it has tossed a lonely for more than 1,000 years, which not only means the loss of self-esteem for Vietnam, but also the collapse of faith.

Therefore, "anti-China does not dare, pro-China is not willing" has finally become a true portrayal of Vietnam's heart, and Vietnam, as a "national Lü bu", after being enough of the "shared son" of several big countries, hopes to be able to correctly understand its own position and make choices that are beneficial to itself.
