In addition to an 18-month delay, Ford will no longer produce the two electric vehicles at its Cuautitlan assembly plant in Mexico, where a new location has yet to be determined. Drake said the U.S. automaker plans to dedicate the Cuautitlan assembly plant to production of the Mustang Mach-E. The goal is to produce 200,000 Mustang Mach-Es per year by 2023, and it is reported that production will increase next year.
