In September 1945, Yang Baoqing was transferred to the 10th Airlift Brigade of the Nationalist Army and took on transport tasks. His main task at that time was to fly the C47 transport aircraft to transport Nationalist soldiers to the northeast to fight the civil war. This made Yang Baoqing very dissatisfied. In June 1949, Yang Baoqing was sent to the Qiqihar Air Force Aviation School in Northeast China as a flight instructor, and his wife Liu Yupu stayed in our North China Aviation Bureau as an accountant.
