At 9:30 a.m. on March 26, the Jin opera master Ding Guoxian Historical Video Exhibition opened at the Guandi Temple of Nanxiao Wall (Shanxi Fashion Echo City Cultural Exchange Center).
The exhibition is sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Taiyuan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Taiyuan Daily, Taiyuan Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics, Shanxi Jin Theater, Shanxi Provincial Art Research Institute, Taiyuan Jin Opera Art Research Institute, Taiyuan Culture and Art School, Taiyuan Daily All-Media Command Center, Taiyuan Municipal Cultural Relics Bureau Guandi Temple Cultural Management Office, and Shanxi Fashion Echo City Cultural Exchange Center. National first-class actors and Jin opera performance artists Wu Lingyun, Ma Yulou, Liu Hanyin, Wu Zhong, Yan Huizhen, Wen Mingyi, Wang Ai'ai, Tian Guilan, Gao Cuiying and others performed Jin opera singing at the opening ceremony.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in order to further inherit the excellent qualities of the older generation of artists, the party and the virtue and art, to build the Taiyuan cultural brand, to promote and inherit the culture of Jin opera, on the occasion of World Theatre Day on March 27, FangHua Yongzai - Jin opera master Ding Guoxian historical video exhibition was held.
The exhibition is divided into four parts: the first exhibition hall is the inheritance of the past and the future, and the monument of Jin opera. The second exhibition hall is the pear garden Shengyan and Xusheng Taidou. The third exhibition hall is dedicated to the cultivation of peach and plum, talented people. The fourth exhibition hall is the Meilan charm and the songzhu character. A total of more than 100 precious old photographs of Ding Guoxian's artistic life are exhibited, as well as Ding Guoxian's costumes, letters, performance posters, records, paintings and other precious old objects. The exhibition will run from March 26 to April 9.
Ding Guoxian (1909-1972), formerly known as Ding Buyun, nicknamed Guozi, stage name "Guozi Hong", was a native of Shulu County, Hebei Province. Since childhood, his family was poor, he was sold to the Ding family in Taiyuan at the age of 4, worshiped Sun Zhulin as a teacher at the age of 7, performed on stage at the age of 11, and was known as the "Susheng Taidou" of Shanxi Zizi around the age of 20.
