In the early 1930s, at a time of international turmoil, the staunch Manchurian colonialist Kaisa Ozawa crossed the ocean with his wife and landed on Chinese soil.
He opened a dentist's clinic in Shenyang and made a living from it. Soon after, their children were born. Kaisa Ozawa did not hesitate to name the child as Seiji Ozawa.
The words "Seiji" and "Er" are taken from his friends Itagaki Seishiro and Ishihara Guan'er, respectively. The two young men were mid-level officers in the Kwantung Army in the northeast at the time and advocates of the founding of Manchuria.
The three of them saw each other in Shenyang as they were, and the momentum and majesty of the young officer made Ozawa Kaisa yearn for and respect, and he even used this name to express his expectations for his son's future identity.
As the war drew nearer and Shenyang was no longer safe, the Ozawa family decided to move to Beijing. As the war intensified, the visionary Ozawa Kaisa rushed back to Japan with his family before the war broke out.

Emperor Tian did not pay off, and Ozawa Seiji finally entered the music department of The Kirito Gakuen, an ideal institution, in 1951. After entering a professional music school, he no longer stopped at various basic music theories, and slowly came into contact with the later field of conducting expertise.
After making it clear that he was interested in the command department, Ozawa studied under the famous command educator Hideo Saito.
Under the stern guidance of Hideo Saito, he laid a solid professional foundation, mastered excellent command skills, and achieved excellent results in the academy graduation competition.
Seiji Ozawa, who has emerged in the same age, is not complacent because of his current achievements, but is determined to go to the wider world. He is not satisfied that he is just the best among his peers, and longs for a higher and more dazzling stage.
So he embarked on the road to study. This time, he left Japan and boarded a ship bound for France, and after a long and boring sea journey, a splendid musical capital stood on the coast.
By chance, he participated in the Besançon World Conducting Competition in September of that year and won the championship with outstanding talent and unique style, and overnight became a well-known figure in Europe at that time.

After traveling from place to place, Seiji Ozawa thought of his original home, the one far away in China. Ozawa, already a world-renowned conductor, re-embarked on Chinese mainland in 1976.
This land was so strange to him, so strange that every street had changed greatly; but it was so familiar, and the same smell as his childhood drifted in the air, evoking his infinite emotions.
The beating of his heart made him realize that he didn't want to miss this place all the time. His early years of visiting China did not realize Ozawa's dream of commanding in China, so he secretly decided in his heart that he must leave traces of his existence in this land.
In the past two years, Seiji Ozawa has finally won an opportunity to cooperate with the Central Orchestra, and he will be the conductor and orchestra to perform a song "Erquan Yingyue" and other Western music pieces, and the wonderful performance has been well received, drawing a perfect stroke for Ozawa's hometown.
After the performance, at the invitation of friends, Ozawa Seiji enjoyed a traditional erhu version of "Erquan Yingyue", and the poignant tone of the unique erhu interpreted this song into a classical and lonely style, and everyone present was quiet in the performance.

This trip to China made Ozawa reminisce a lot. He did not set foot on this homeland alone, carrying a portrait of his father in his bag. Just as his father led him to walk the streets when he was a child, only this time, he led his father and slowly walked on the bluestone bricks.
This kind land immerses Ozawa in the past and can't tell the difference between the present and the night.
After the death of his mother, Seiji Ozawa eventually chose to scatter her ashes in her former residence in Beijing.
Memories of his childhood were vague, but he could never forget that every evening when the sun was shining, his mother would always hold him and sit under the camphor tree in front of the old house, gently humming his incomprehensible whispers.
