Because of my love of music, I often visited concert halls and theaters, and in order to record something, I developed from a love of music to a love of photography. In the past 30 years, I have paid close attention to the orchestra conductor for a long time, and have photographed hundreds of Chinese and foreign conductors. In February 2019, I selected 48 photos from more than 100,000 photographs of these hundreds of conductors, and independently designed, edited, and produced a sample album "Happy Soul" as a summary of 30 years of stage art photography. Flipping through these 48 photos, each photo has a touching story. Let's talk about Seiji Ozawa, I really feel sorry for him, the story has to start from twenty-five years ago.

Seiji Ozawa is a Japanese conductor. Winner of the Kennedy Center Honor Award in 1978, Music Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 2015, and Grammy Award, the highest honor of the U.S. Music Industry in February 2016, he has an extremely keen sense of hearing, amazing musical memory, superb baton skills, rich musical sense and decisive and enthusiastic spirit. His conducting style is very warm and vivid, and the changes are also very rich, full of vitality, passion and strong appeal. He is a conductor who is very good at accurately grasping and understanding a variety of different styles of work.

On May 4, 1994, Seiji Ozawa returned to his birthplace of Shenyang, where he decided to conduct the Liaoning Symphony Orchestra to perform Dvořák's Ninth Symphony. The leader of the orchestra recalled: "On the first day, after rehearsing the fourth movement of the Allegro, Ozawa's face suddenly sank, frowned, and said to himself in a low voice: How can this be? How does such an orchestra perform? Suddenly, he tapped the baton the sheet music stand and said, From tomorrow onwards, we will conduct individual performance training. He corrected the first violinist again and again, but it was still difficult to pass. Looking at the master's sweat-soaked hair and tired face, the first violinist felt very uncomfortable in his heart, first tears, sobbing, and then crying: "Master, I'm sorry, you choose someone else, I can't do it." Everyone present thought that the master would be angry, but he said very calmly, "You can do it, only a little bit." Please come again. When she finished pulling it over, the master pulled up his hair: "Thanks, please come again, okay?" In this way, when the first violinist passed, she could not cry. The master gasped, took the towel and smiled, "You are all ok, no one has any reason to be discouraged..."

At the appreciation banquet, he said: "For four days, we have all done our best and created a miracle together! Everywhere I go, I put music first. ”

On the night of the official performance, I came to the Liaoning People's Hall early, and the audience who came from all directions was full of joy on their faces. For more than 20 years, it has been published in many Chinese and foreign media, and it has won many awards, and since then, I have paid special attention to making the camera silenced when shooting performances, so as not to affect the performance effect.
