In order to further strengthen the fire safety work on campus, effectively improve the fire safety awareness of teachers and students, improve the ability of teachers and students to prevent disasters and emergencies, reflect the fire control policy of "prevention first, prevention and elimination combination", effectively prevent and deal with sudden fire accidents, and protect the property and personal safety of the school. On the afternoon of November 3, Xushen Primary School in Yuanhui District, Luohe City successfully held a "fire safety drill" activity.
In order to implement this drill, the school formulated a detailed fire evacuation drill plan, which clearly stipulated the routes for each class to escape, the responsibilities of each homeroom teacher, the duties of the duty teacher at each staircase, and the responsibilities of the commander on the evacuation route.
Before the start of the exercise, each class teacher introduced simple escape precautions and methods to the students. At 15:10, as the alarm sounded, more than 1,000 students in the school covered their mouths and noses under the guidance of the teachers of each class, bent over, quickly and orderly in accordance with the established escape route, evacuated to the school sports field, from the sound of the alarm to the last student evacuated to the square, it took only 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
After the students were safely evacuated to the sports field, each class quickly counted the number of people to ensure that each student had been safely evacuated, and reported the results of the count to the drill commander in time. Finally, the school leaders summarized the drill activities.
In this drill, the teachers performed their duties, conscientiously put in place, and the evacuation was rapid and orderly. In the future work, the school will continue to pay unremitting attention to safety education, truly implement the fire safety work, build a safe campus, and create a safe educational environment for the healthy growth of children.
