Today is Mother's Day, and I sincerely wish the mothers of the world good health and happiness forever!
In fact, Mother's Day originated in the United States. On May 9, 1906, Anna Javis's mother in Philadelphia, USA, sadly passed away. On the anniversary of her mother's death the following year, Miss Anna organized a memorial service to her mother and encouraged others to express their gratitude to their mother in a similar way. Since then, she has lobbied and appealed to all sectors of society for the establishment of Mother's Day. Her appeal was warmly heeded. On May 10, 1913, the U.S. House and Senate passed a resolution, signed by President Wilson, to designate the second Sunday of May each year as Mother's Day. This initiative has been followed by countries around the world, and by the time Anna died in 1948, 43 countries had established Mother's Day.
Whether it is a foreign festival or a Chinese holiday, I think as long as the festival is meaningful and has a positive impact, it can be. But I don't think the meaning of Mother's Day should be reflected only on this day. As mothers, they can't just look forward to this day to be happy and get all kinds of family gatherings. Some families have children living separately from their parents, and there are not many gatherings a year, and when this festival is celebrated, everyone goes out to eat a meal together, or sends a red envelope. Parents are happier today, and everyone is happy holidays. I think that's also the holiday effect.
In fact, the happiness of mothers is not only happy on Mother's Day, they hope more is every day in life, every day of companionship, every day of communication, every day of booing and greetings!
