At 9:00 a.m., with the gong of the Chongqing Hotpot Inheritance Ceremony, the Chongqing Hotpot Festival kicked off.
As an annual hot pot event, this year's Chongqing Hot Pot Festival has an exhibition area of 70,000 square meters, which is the largest exhibition area.

Zhang Yongwu, secretary of the party group and director of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, introduced that at present, there are 16,600 hot pot units in Chongqing, nearly 30,000 hot pot stores, with an annual operating income of nearly 60 billion yuan, and the whole industrial chain of hot pot has reached the level of 100 billion, providing jobs for 600,000 people, and there are more than 150,000 hot pot shops in Chongqing throughout the country.
