According to the information released by the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, the national standard has strict limits on cyanide in liquor, requiring no more than 8.0mg/L. The cyanide in liquor mainly comes from raw materials, such as cassava, wild plants, etc., which are hydrolyzed to produce hydrocyanic acid during the process of making wine. Some low-grade liquor blended does not rule out the possibility of using cassava with excessive cyanide to eat alcohol.

Cyclamate chemical name is sodium cyclohexylsulfamate, is a non-nutritive sweetener, widely used in bread, pastries, beverages, prepared wine and preserves and other foods. The National Standard for Food Safety The Standard for the Use of Food Additives (GB 2760-2014) stipulates that cyclamate shall not be used in liquor. The reason for the detection of cyclamate in liquor may be that the production enterprise illegally adds cyclamate in order to improve the taste of the finished liquor; it may also be the cross-pollution caused by the production process of liquor and prepared liquor.

Alcohol content, also known as alcohol content, refers to the number of milliliters of ethanol (alcohol) contained in 100 ml of wine at 20 ° C, that is, the percentage of volume (capacity). Alcohol content is the quality index of liquor, "sauce flavored liquor" (GB/T 26760-2011), "clear liquor" GB/T 10781.2-2006) and other standards stipulate that the alcohol actual measurement value and product label requirements allowable difference is ± 1.0% vol, and its content should meet the relevant requirements. The reason why the alcohol content does not meet the requirements specified in the product label may be that the alcohol volatilization is caused by the loose packaging, or it may be that the enterprise uses low alcohol to pass off as high alcohol.

In view of the unqualified food found in the supervision and sampling inspection, the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has instructed the relevant district and municipal market supervision departments to immediately organize and carry out disposal work, find out the flow of products, urge enterprises to take measures such as removing and recalling unqualified products from the shelves to control risks, deal with violations of laws and regulations in accordance with the law, and timely disclose the risk prevention and control measures and verification and disposal taken by enterprises to the public.
