Yao Wenyuan, one of the Gang of Four during the Cultural Revolution, a member of the Central Cultural Revolution Group and a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, was sentenced to 20 years in prison, released in 1996, died of diabetes in 2005, lived for 74 years, and was the last of the "Gang of Four" to die.
