In order to enhance everyone's awareness of fire safety and improve the prevention and handling ability of fire emergency and fire accidents, recently, the New Era Civilization Practice Station of the Garden Community of Chaohui Street, Huinan County, together with the Huinan County Emergency Bureau, the Meteorological Bureau, and the Fire and Rescue Brigade, carried out publicity and education activities with the theme of "Everyone Stresses Safety and Everyone Meets Emergency" to improve the ability of grassroots disaster prevention and risk avoidance.
At the event site, the staff carefully prepared publicity materials such as "Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Knowledge Manual" and "Warm Tips for Family Fire Prevention", and explained to residents how to protect themselves and reduce losses when disasters come, as well as family coal, electricity and gas safety prevention knowledge, and taught and guided the use of emergency appliances such as hydraulic tongs and toothless saws on the spot, so that everyone benefited a lot.
With the ringing of the alarm bell, the fire drill began, the smoke billowing in the corridor, the residents remained calm, observed the wind direction, covered their mouths and noses with wet towels and bent over to escape quickly from the smoke in the corridor. The development of this activity not only allowed the residents to learn valuable knowledge of disaster prevention and mitigation, but also enhanced their safety awareness and self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities, building a solid barrier for protecting a better home.
In the next step, the garden community will use the power of the grid to mobilize volunteers in the jurisdiction to strengthen the publicity of disaster prevention and risk avoidance safety through WeChat, text messages, small speakers, posters, etc., so as to lay a solid foundation for the safety and stability of the community and escort the safety of the community residents.
