In order to adhere to and develop the "Fengqiao experience" in the new era and strengthen the governance of the source of litigation in marriage and family disputes, on May 11, the Dongjiayuan Court of Anxiang Court went to Tangjiagang Village, Anxiang Township to carry out a legal popularization campaign with the theme of "Governing High-priced Bride Prices and Promoting New Trends in Marriage".
During the event, the judges used easy-to-understand language to explain in detail to the people at the scene the hot issues of concern to the masses such as the scope of the determination of high bride price and the return of the bride price, and introduced the adverse effects of high bride price, guiding the masses to consciously resist high bride price and oppose the trend of comparison. Subsequently, the judges went into the fields to publicize the legal knowledge of high-priced bride price, anti-wire fraud, protection of minors, and anti-drug for the masses. More than 300 copies of various promotional materials were distributed during the event, and more than 30 people received legal advice.
In the next step, the Anxiang Court will take the opportunity of creating a "Fengqiao-style people's court" to continue to further promote the governance of litigation sources, further optimize the resolution of marital and family conflicts and disputes, continue to increase the publicity of the rule of law, carry forward the core values of socialism, guide the masses to establish a correct concept of marriage, boost the construction of rural customs and civilization, and draw a new "maple" scene of grassroots governance.
