In order to further improve the ability to deal with sudden flood and drought disasters, on April 29, the Yunyan District Water Affairs Bureau organized an emergency drill for flood and drought disaster prevention in the Taiping Road characteristic business district.
The drill was conducted in accordance with the "Emergency Plan for Flood and Drought Disaster Prevention in Yunyan District", "Emergency Plan for Flood Control and Evacuation of Guancheng River of Yuxiu Road Sub-district Office in Yunyan District", and "Emergency Plan for Flood Prevention and Rescue of Taiping Road Reconstruction and Upgrading Urban Renewal Project in Yunyan District" Initiate emergency response and carry out defense and rescue work, the drill simulates the heavy rainfall weather in the upper reaches of the Guancheng River in Yunyan District, the flood gate of the Guancheng River has reached the flood warning water level of the exceedance, and the flood gate needs to be opened and the water level of the Longjing Bridge of the Guancheng River exceeds the warning water level and continues to rise, carry out heavy rain and flood monitoring, forecasting and early warning, mass transfer and avoidance, and blocking river drainage.
During the exercise, after receiving the work requirements of the district flood control headquarters, the Yuxiu Road Sub-district Office immediately activated the emergency plan according to the procedures, and organized each working group to prepare materials and personnel scheduling, transfer and resettlement of the masses, and rescue the trapped people according to their responsibilities.
The emergency team of the district fire and rescue brigade rushed to the scene, studied and formulated the emergency rescue plan together with the on-site emergency rescue headquarters, and used drones to monitor the hidden danger section of the river in real time, arranged special personnel to monitor the changes in the water level, ensured the safety of rescue personnel and equipment in the rescue area, and organized drainage and rescue vehicles to pump and drain the blocked river section.
It is reported that the drainage rescue vehicle can carry 8 pontoon pumps, 200 type hose 1600 meters, a single pump rated flow rate of 500 cubic meters per hour, the maximum drainage depth of 30 meters, the maximum displacement of the vehicle per hour of 4000 cubic meters, can eliminate flooding in special areas in a short time.
Through the emergency drill for flood and drought disaster prevention, the people's awareness of flood disaster prevention, risk avoidance, self-rescue, and mutual rescue ability have been comprehensively enhanced, and at the same time, the ability and level of flood and drought disaster prevention and disposal in our region have been effectively improved, and the expected results of building defense with "drills" and preparing for war with "training" have been achieved.
