From April 20th to 26th, during the National Intellectual Property Publicity Week, the District Market Supervision Bureau (Heping District Intellectual Property Office) organized a series of intellectual property publicity activities throughout the region under the theme of "Intellectual Property Transformation and Application to Promote High-quality Development", so as to effectively develop new quality productivity and add new vitality to regional economic development.
On the day of "4.26", on-site public welfare publicity service activities were carried out in Hisense Plaza, and in-depth and comprehensive publicity was carried out through on-site answers to policies and regulations, guidance on consumer rights protection, and face-to-face publicity for settled merchants, so as to tell the story of intellectual property rights. More than 340 residents were received on site, more than 1,200 copies of publicity materials were distributed, and the posters of the 2024 National Intellectual Property Publicity Week were played in a loop through 16 large screens in key areas and prosperous areas, so as to create an intellectual property culture atmosphere of "respecting knowledge, advocating innovation, integrity and law-abiding, and fair competition".
Carry out the "five in" activities of bringing intellectual property rights into communities, institutions, enterprises, hospitals, and campuses. Go deep into the Shichangli community of Nanyingmen Street to carry out legal popularization and publicity activities, and explain the content closely related to residents' lives such as cracking down on infringement and counterfeiting. We went deep into the Tianhe City Shopping Center, a standardized cultivation market for intellectual property protection in Tianjin, and invited full-time lawyers from the Heping District Intellectual Property Rights Protection Workstation to carry out special training in the field of intellectual property protection, so as to guide merchants to attach importance to and actively use the value of intellectual property rights. A special lecture on the cultivation and transformation of high-value patents was held in Tianjin Eye Hospital to further enhance the hospital's scientific and technological innovation capabilities. The Youth Palace of the United District held a keynote speech contest to welcome the "4.26" World Intellectual Property Day to cultivate young people's awareness of innovation.
Combined with the 2024 annual work on cracking down on intellectual property infringement and the production and sale of counterfeit and shoddy goods, organize relevant units to Tianjin Gaoneng Environmental Protection Energy Co., Ltd. to carry out harmless destruction and disposal activities on the infringing goods involved in the case confiscated by various law enforcement units. A total of 1.46 tons of various infringing and counterfeit goods were harmlessly destroyed and disposed of, including more than 800 pieces of food, infringing wine, infringing shoes, clothing, bags, etc., which exceeded the shelf life. The value of the items involved in the case was 89,778.6 yuan. Continue to strengthen the special rectification of intellectual property rights, and report on the first batch of typical cases of the "Iron Fist" action in the field of people's livelihood in 2024, and give full play to the deterrent effect of typical cases.
