On April 24, the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau (Intellectual Property Office) organized the 2024 Shenzhen Intellectual Property Protection Workstation Work Conference, and 11 intellectual property protection workstations held a centralized unveiling ceremony.
Li Jun, deputy director of the Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Intellectual Property Office), said that the construction of intellectual property protection workstations has built a social governance network for intellectual property protection, opened up the "last mile" of service enterprises, and played an important role in the city's intellectual property protection pattern. Next, it is necessary to continue to improve the political position, grasp the overall situation, deeply understand the functional positioning of intellectual property protection, focus on the real economy, improve service capabilities, and help the development of new quality productivity, build a co-governance system, promote coordinated protection, and strive to create a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based and internationalized.
At the meeting, Mo Weibin, director of the Intellectual Property Protection Division, reported the evaluation results of the 2023 intellectual property protection workstation, and four excellent workstations, including the intellectual property protection workstation of the Shenzhen Association for the Promotion of the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements, shared their experience and practices. Subsequently, a centralized unveiling ceremony was held for 11 newly filed intellectual property protection workstations in "20+8" industries, key industrial parks and key markets. Huang Zhenhui, a representative of the Municipal People's Congress, and Li Fei, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, commented and guided on the construction of intellectual property protection workstations and the improvement of the level of social co-governance of intellectual property protection, and put forward work opinions and suggestions. The Office of the Intellectual Property Protection Workstation Alliance made the 2023 annual work report, and the Intellectual Property Protection Division publicized and implemented the laws and regulations on intellectual property rights and special fund policies.
It is understood that the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Bureau (Intellectual Property Office) issued a normative document "Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Supervision and Administration of Intellectual Property Protection Workstation Management Measures", up to now, to promote industry associations, chambers of commerce, industrial parks, commodity trading markets to build 144 intellectual property protection workstations, serving more than 120,000 innovative subjects. In 2023, the city's workstations will carry out 535 intellectual property publicity and training, with more than 80,000 online and offline participants, and provide a total of 3,385 intellectual property business guidance services for 1,832 enterprises, 338 intellectual property rights protection assistance services for 209 enterprises, and 290 intellectual property dispute mediation services for 120 enterprises. In the 2023 annual evaluation of workstations, 4 workstations, including the intellectual property protection workstation of the Shenzhen Association for the Promotion of the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements, were rated as excellent, and 22 workstations, including the intellectual property protection workstation of the Shenzhen New Materials Industry Association, were rated as good.
