On April 24, the County Bureau of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, the County Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the County Financial Media Center jointly organized a special lecture on "Intellectual Property Protection" in the literary and artistic circles, and invited Peng Deng, a lawyer from Fujian Zegao Law Firm, to give a lecture. With the title of "Copyright Protection in the Context of Digitalization", Mr. Peng Deng gave a comprehensive and profound exposition on the connotation of copyright, the rights and restrictions of copyright, and copyright protection. While explaining the legal knowledge points, it also analyzes the real cases involved in media publicity and various art categories, which has both theoretical depth and practical breadth, and plays a good guiding role in learning and mastering the copyright law for the majority of media practitioners and literary and art workers.

What is Copyright?
Copyright, also known as "copyright", is an important part of intellectual property rights and refers to the exclusive rights enjoyed by authors over their literary, artistic, and scientific and technological works. Copyright is a civil right enjoyed by citizens and legal persons in accordance with the law, and it is an intangible property right.
Copyright arises in accordance with the law, and the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China was promulgated in 1990 and amended twice in 2001 and 2010. Adopt laws to protect the copyrights of authors of literary, artistic, and scientific works, as well as the rights and interests related to copyrights, encourage the creation and dissemination of works that are conducive to the building of socialist spiritual and material civilizations, and promote the development and prosperity of socialist cultural and scientific undertakings.

What does copyright mainly protect?
Copyright protects the expression of ideas. Expression here refers to the unique way in which words, notes, colors, shapes, etc. are selected and arranged. Therefore, there can be many different works of the same idea, and as long as the idea is expressed in an original way, it is protected by copyright. Copyright protects a wide variety of works, which can be:
