In 2020, the Yunyang District Procuratorate filed an administrative public interest lawsuit due to the disrepair and overgrown weeds of the frozen green ancient buildings, which infringed on national interests and social public interests. The Yunyang District People's Court invited three provincial cultural relics protection experts to the site of the frozen green ancient building to evaluate the protection status of the frozen green ancient building, and put forward reasonable suggestions for the pest control of Yangsi Temple, the waterproof problem of Niangniang Temple and the restoration of the wall and wooden components of Qingchang Garden.

In order to further strengthen the preventive protection of the frozen green ancient buildings of the provincial key cultural relics protection units, on April 30 this year, the Yunyang District People's Court issued a judicial protection order in accordance with the "Civil Code of the People's Republic of China", "Tourism Law of the People's Republic of China" and other legal provisions, and put forward clear prohibitions, that is, it is forbidden to demolish, damage, occupy, carve, deface, and other destructive activities on the ancient bricks, ancient walls, and ancient trees of the frozen green ancient buildings, and prohibit new construction, expansion, and addition of any temporary or defaced buildings within the protection scope of the frozen green ancient buildings. For permanent buildings or structures, it is forbidden to carry out other construction projects or blasting, drilling, excavation and other operations within the protection area of frozen green ancient buildings, so as to help cultural relics "survive" and "pass on".
