In order to effectively implement the requirements of the higher authorities on the prevention and control of animal diseases in spring, and further increase the prevention and control of major animal diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease and highly pathogenic avian influenza, recently, the Animal Disease Prevention and Control Service Center of Yanjing Town, Li County organized and carried out spring animal epidemic prevention work.
In order to ensure the smooth development of the work, Yanjing Town organized a spring animal epidemic prevention work deployment meeting and set up a work leading group. After the meeting, the members of the group went deep into the villages and communities to publicize the knowledge of animal epidemic prevention in spring to farmers, explained the scientific management of breeding, the types and hazards of common livestock diseases, and how to correctly prevent related epidemic diseases, so as to further improve the awareness of farmers and large farmers on the importance and necessity of livestock and poultry prevention and control, and enhance the initiative and enthusiasm of animal immunization prevention and control.
At the same time, 9 epidemic prevention commissioners in the town were organized to vaccinate livestock door-to-door, learn more about the feeding management of farmers, carefully check the health status of livestock, and put forward reasonable opinions and suggestions in combination with the spring animal epidemic prevention work to ensure that the animal epidemic prevention work is solid in place.
Subsequently, the town's epidemic prevention work leading group will inspect the completion of epidemic prevention in each village (community) to ensure that "the town does not miss the village, the village does not miss the household, the household does not miss the livestock, and the livestock does not miss the needle", complete the epidemic prevention task on time and quality, and focus on the compulsory immunization of major animal diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease, avian influenza, and swine fever, establish a strong safety barrier, and effectively protect the safety of the people's lives and property.
