Sunlight shines through the clouds on the pastures of Darima, a herder in Xibogacha. The reporter walked in this vibrant land, and his ears were filled with the cheerful bleating sound of the little lambs and the busy voices of the herdsmen, as if he was a singer of nature, telling the joy of growth with a childish singing voice.
The harvest on the grassland will be held, and the herdsmen are not only the joyful ones who enjoy the harvest, but also the guardians of this life and the laborers of a happy life. Some of them hold scissors in their hands and gently cut off the ears of the lambs, leaving a unique mark on them, as if telling the uniqueness and preciousness of every life. Some focus on castration, guarding the health of every little life with gentle techniques, so that they can grow carefree on the grassland. There are also vaccinations to prevent common diseases and build a solid line of defense for every little life.
At the same time, Darima also took advantage of this harvest to carry out family herding tours, inviting relatives, friends and surrounding tourists to share the joy of the pastoral harvest.
Xibogacha herdsman Darima said: "This year's lamb conservation work is going very smoothly, at present, more than 380 lambs have been received, and more than 80 have not been completed. At this year's harvest party, I combined it with tourism, and invited relatives, friends, and friends from outside to gather together and celebrate the harvest happily. ”
It is understood that up to now, more than 71,000 basic ewes in Sumu in the west of the Sini River have received more than 54,000 lambs, with a lambing rate of 76%. More than 7,000 calves, more than 900 foals, and more than 80 camel lambs.
Tao Li, deputy director of the Sumu Comprehensive Security and Technology Promotion Center in the west of the Sini River, said: "In order to do a solid job in the conservation of Sumu lambs, we actively help and coordinate to solve various problems encountered by herders in the conservation of lambs, and do a good job in disease prevention and control, disinfection of enclosures and spring fallow grazing publicity. ”
The reporter learned that in 2024, our flag is expected to give birth to 440,000 heads, including 100,000 large animals and 340,000 small animals, and as of now, 320,000 large and small animals have given birth, including 65,000 large animals and 275,000 small animals, and the survival rate is above 98%.
