The Spanish Food Safety Authority warned of the presence of Listeria in a brand of smoked salmon

On May 19, local time, the Spanish Food Safety Authority issued a warning that listeria exists in smoked salmon manufactured by a brand in the country, and listeria infection can cause a series of serious symptoms, which can lead to death when severe. The salmon is locally made in Spain and is valid until 23 May 2021.

Authorities have asked not to consume this batch of salmon and to recall the batch from the market as soon as possible. According to the news, there are no cases in Spain at present that there are no symptoms related to the infection of this batch of salmon. (Reporter Wei Fan)
