The milk powder donated by the China Rural Development Foundation and FrieslandCampina has laid a good foundation for improving the nutrition level and all-round growth of the children in Zhimi Township.
Zhemi Township will be lifted out of poverty in 2020, and the "straight" ethnic group will set off great changes in the mountain township. However, due to the remote location, most of the children's parents work outside the home all year round, and it is difficult to provide a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet environment for the children, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs contacted the China Rural Development Foundation and FrieslandCampina to donate 1,800 cans of milk powder worth 367,740 yuan to Zhemi Township, benefiting 300 Lahu children aged 1 to 5 years old, meeting the nutritional and health needs of the children and improving the nutritional health level of the children.
At the distribution site, the people who received the milk powder were full of happy smiles, and they kept thanking the party for their good policies, and thanked the China Rural Development Foundation and FrieslandCampina for their enthusiastic donations.
