The application value of high-sensitivity cardiac troponin in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction

In the latest edition of the guidelines for the management of acute coronary syndromes, hs-cTn has been identified as the biomarker of choice for the diagnosis and treatment of ACS, particularly in the setting to rule out STEMI or very high-risk NSTE-ACS. The guidelines also emphasize the importance of continuous detection and dynamic changes in hs-cTn, and propose three diagnostic modalities, including 0h/1h, 0h/2h, and 0h/3h. For patients with suspected NSTEMII who do not have an immediate indication for invasive angiography, a 0h/1h or 0h/2h exclusion algorithm should be used to reduce the incidence of clinical events.
