Recently, Vietnamese People's Air Force personnel used surface-to-air missiles and anti-aircraft weapons to shoot down incoming drones in simulated air strikes.

The exercise involved Soviet/Russian and Israeli systems, which formed an integral system as a result of the Air Force's integration efforts.

(Figure 1-Figure 4) The SPYDER air defense missile system is a surface-to-air missile system jointly developed by Israel's Rafael Arms Company, MBT Missile Company, Elta Corporation and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) (SPYDER is a composite abbreviation, where S stands for ground launch, PY and DER stand for Snake-5 and Derby missiles, respectively).

(Figure 5-8) The S-75 (Sam-2) anti-aircraft missile used in Vietnam has been upgraded to the S75M3 (Volga-M/Volga-M)

The ZSU-23-4 self-propelled anti-aircraft gun, also known as the Shilka River (Russian: Шилка), is the second generation of self-propelled anti-aircraft guns developed by the Soviet Union in the 60s of the last century, used for ultra-low-altitude air defense accompanying tank regiments and motorized rifle regiments.

(Figure 11-Figure 14) upgraded AZP S-60 and M1939 (61-K) systems, fire output is directed by radar and optics. The system was upgraded in 2010 and put into use in 2012, and it was not until 2016 that images and local details were officially released.
