The 2024 Hannover Messe will take place from April 22 to 26. This year's exhibition focuses on the theme of "Injecting Vitality into Industrial Sustainability", focusing on the latest technologies and solutions in the fields of energy transition, Industry 4.0, digitalization and artificial intelligence. As one of the most influential industrial exhibitions in the world, this year's exhibition attracted nearly 4,000 exhibitors from 59 countries and regions. Among them, there are more than 1,150 Chinese exhibitors, second only to the organizer Germany, and many Chinese intelligent manufacturing and green transformation solutions have attracted widespread attention.

"Energy and innovation are important conditions for increasing productivity"

This year's Hannover Messe was crowded with business representatives busy presenting innovative products and services to visitors. At the industry forum during the exhibition, industry experts and business people conducted in-depth discussions on common topics.

At the booth of Siemens in Germany, a robotic arm is being operated and demonstrated according to computer programming. Siemens AG launches the first generative AI product for engineering, enabling engineers to optimize engineering and improve quality and productivity. Siemens Digital Industry Group CEO Niko told reporters: "Siemens is committed to developing products that integrate the real world and the digital world, and promoting more artificial intelligence research and development from concept to implementation. ”

The German company Inmonda presented the latest generation of energy-efficient motors and an IIoT cloud platform. Mike Rigile, CEO of the company, told reporters that industrial carbon dioxide emissions account for 1/4 of the world's total carbon dioxide emissions, while motors and electric drive systems consume about 70% of energy. Promoting the green transformation of the motor sector is an important part of global sustainable development.

Schneider Electric Group of France exhibited a series of products and solutions such as industrial software, artificial intelligence and digital twin technology. Barbara Frey, Group Executive Vice President, said: "Industry is one of the world's largest carbon emitters. We must take proactive steps to accelerate the pace of industrial decarbonization while safeguarding productivity gains. Industrial software, automation, and electrification are all indispensable in this process. ”

"This year's Hannover Messe showcases our way to survive the future: continuous innovation, continuous progress, research and development and the application of new technologies for the future. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at the opening ceremony that artificial intelligence and energy transition solutions are two important elements of this year's exhibition. "Energy and innovation are important conditions for increasing productivity, and AI solutions help us achieve this. ”

"Contributing more to the global energy transition"

At this year's exhibition, Chinese enterprises focused on industrial solutions such as smart manufacturing, clean environmental protection and energy transition.

At the Shanghai Electric booth, the first thing that caught your eye was the "Zero-carbon Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" on the large LCD screen, where white wind turbine arrays and blue photovoltaic parks were dotted among the green waters and green mountains. The sand table shows the Dubai 950 MW CSP composite power generation project contracted by Shanghai Electric, which is the world's largest single CSP project, which can achieve 24-hour continuous and stable power generation from 100% renewable energy and provide power services for 320,000 local households. According to Zhang Di, director of brand public relations of Shanghai Electric, as an industrial-grade green intelligent system solution provider, Shanghai Electric has demonstrated a number of latest achievements, such as new power systems, zero-carbon industrial parks, and intelligent manufacturing production lines.

Shenyang SIASUN Robotics Co., Ltd. showcased mobile robots that can be used for automobile assembly, as well as welding robots, industrial cleaning robots and other products. In recent years, the company has accelerated the pace of international development, built a more extensive R&D, production and service network, improved the localized operation ability and market response speed, and won more and more praise from international customers.

Qingdao Kelin New Energy Co., Ltd. is demonstrating a home energy storage system that has attracted many customers. According to Chai Yefei, the person in charge of the company, this product is equipped with advanced air source heat pump technology, with outstanding energy efficiency ratio, which can greatly reduce household energy consumption for users. The lithium batteries developed by the company use green and environmentally friendly lithium iron phosphate cells, which can be widely used in different industries such as solar lighting, power tools, medical equipment, smart homes, and intelligent transportation.

Hangzhou Huading New Energy Co., Ltd., which participated in the exhibition for the first time, focused on the technology and solutions of solar thermal power generation, green hydrogen production, methanol production and other aspects. Zhu Xiufeng, chairman of the company, said: "We look forward to deepening cooperation with enterprises from all over the world, including German enterprises, to jointly promote the development and application of new energy technologies such as green hydrogen production and green methanol production through the coupling and utilization of photovoltaic + solar thermal power generation technology, and continue to expand the application boundaries of solar energy technology and contribute more to the global energy transition." ”

"We are always confident in the development prospects of the Chinese market"

During the exhibition, the "Invest in China" series of activities were held simultaneously at the Hannover Exhibition Hall. Zhai Qian, Minister of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Germany, said that "Invest in China" provides an important platform for promoting the cooperation and development of the manufacturing industry between China and Germany. At present, China is vigorously developing new quality productive forces, and it is the right time to invest in China, and China and Germany should further build consensus on opening up, development and cooperation.

"For us, cooperation with China is particularly important. Camilla Vargas, Marketing Director of the German eco-friendly design company Earth Gas, said that we needed products with excellent price-performance ratios that could provide an energy-efficient and cost-effective overall solution for the German market. "Our goal is to build long-term partnerships with Chinese companies. Only by working together can we tackle the climate challenge and drive our country's energy transition, and the greatest danger comes from non-cooperation. ”

In recent years, Siemens has been increasing its R&D and investment in China. In 2023, the capital will be increased and the Chengdu digital factory will be expanded. "For Siemens, the Chinese market is an incubator and practice place for innovative technologies. We bring the best products to China, and at the same time learn the latest ideas from the Chinese R&D team. Siemens hopes to continue to maintain close cooperation with Chinese enterprises and jointly promote the development of new quality productivity through the industrial application of cutting-edge technologies. ”

"China is the most important market for Inmonda, accounting for nearly one-quarter of the company's overall revenue. According to Mike Rigile, the Chinese factory has become a key R&D and manufacturing base for Inmonda. The Inmonda IE5 energy-efficient motor displayed at this year's industrial fair was developed and produced by the factory in Yizheng City, Jiangsu Province, and it took less than a year from project approval to market. The second phase of the Yizheng plant will be built in the near future. In the future, Inmonda will further increase its investment, R&D and innovation in China, and actively participate in China's "dual carbon" cause.

"For Schneider Electric, investing and innovating in China is our strong commitment. Over the past 37 years, Schneider Electric has always been confident in the development prospects of the Chinese market. Barbara Fry told reporters that the Chinese market is full of vitality and opportunities. China is not only Schneider Electric's second largest market, but also an important innovation and supply chain base. "In the future, we will continue to work with our Chinese partners to enhance the overall competitiveness of the industrial chain. ”
