Protective clothing for hanging industrial robots plays a vital role in modern manufacturing. Whether it is automobile manufacturing, electronic equipment production or food processing, hanging industrial robots play an irreplaceable role. However, in the process of high-intensity and high-precision work, how to effectively protect these robotic equipment to prolong its service life is particularly important. At this point, choosing the right material for the robot is the focus.

The main function of the protective suit is to protect the robot from the external environment, such as dust, liquids, high temperatures, etc. Therefore, protective clothing needs to have a certain degree of resistance to abrasion, corrosion and high temperatures. With these needs in mind, we often choose materials such as polyurethane, silicone rubber and specialty plastics for our protective clothing.

Polyurethane is in many cases the material of choice for protective clothing due to its excellent abrasion and oil resistance, as well as its ability to resist all kinds of liquid contamination in factories. In addition, polyurethane also has good flexibility and weather resistance, and will not harden even in low temperature environments, ensuring the flexible movement of the robot under various working conditions.

Silicone rubber is another commonly used material for protective clothing. It has excellent high temperature resistance and can withstand continuous heat up to 200 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for use in high-temperature environments. At the same time, silicone rubber also has good electrical insulation, which can protect the robot from electromagnetic interference.

Special plastics, such as polyimide and fluoroelastomer, are also widely used in the production of protective clothing. The main advantages of these materials are high strength, good corrosion resistance, and effective resistance to acids, alkalis and various chemical solvents. In addition, these materials have good ageing resistance, which ensures that the garment retains its original properties over time.

In addition to the materials mentioned above, we also choose to use multi-layer composite materials to make protective clothing for different working environments and working conditions, so as to achieve multiple protection. For example, the inner layer is made of polyurethane to provide abrasion and oil resistance, and the outer layer is made of silicone rubber or special plastic to provide high temperature and corrosion resistance.

In general, the material selection of protective clothing for hanging industrial robots should be carried out according to the specific working environment and needs. Only in this way can we ensure that the robot is effectively protected when performing tasks, prolonging its service life and improving production efficiency.
