How to get rid of being locked by the fire control radar
What is a fire control radar? Why does the situation become very critical when locked by it? This kind of radar uses the radar waves that are constantly emitted to lock on to the target, and then analyzes various information about the target by itself through the reflected radar waves, such as speed, bearing, and distance from the machine. Once locked by the fire control radar, it is equivalent to being targeted by a poisonous snake, and the chance of escape is very low.
Each fighter has a radar warning on board, which can automatically receive radar waves emitted by enemy troops. When the radar waves of the enemy aircraft are transmitted and locked, our military aircraft will also sound the alarm at the first time, in this way to tell the pilot: we are locked.
That is to say, when the 2 J-11BSH were locked by the 4 F/A-18 military aircraft of the US military, the cockpit of the J-11BSH was filled with alarms. Although the enemy has not yet launched missiles, the situation is actually very critical, and if we do not quickly find a way to get rid of the fire control radar lock of the enemy plane, it means that it may be attacked and killed by the enemy plane at any time.
Although Wang Zhongyuan did not specify how to get rid of it in an interview at the time, it was not impossible to escape the lock of the fire control radar.
The first way is to quickly dive towards the ground while being locked. Because there is a range for radar waves to lock on to the target, as long as the military aircraft can quickly rush out of this range, it will be fine if it is not locked by radar waves. In the process of diving, in order to prevent the enemy plane from suddenly launching missiles, our side also needs to open the electronic jamming pod and jam the enemy plane's missiles through electronic signals, so that the missiles will not be able to attack our military planes as if they have lost their "eyes."
The second method is to carry out a large vertical maneuver, which can deplete the potential energy of the missile, and can also serve the purpose of getting rid of the radar lock.
The third method is to fire chaff and infrared decoy bombs at the same time, which is similar to the electronic jamming pod, which is to lure enemy planes by means of "blindfolding". It's just that this method is to trick the opponent's missile guidance radar.
Although the US military dispatched four F/A-18 fighters, and also took the lead in turning on the fire control radar to lock on our military aircraft, our army fell behind. But what the US military did not expect was that there was only one belief in the hearts of Chinese soldiers, and even if they sacrificed, they would never let the enemy succeed. Running to our enemy to make small moves, our army will never agree!

The situation at that time was naturally very critical, and the other party made it clear that the comer was not good. But in the end, our pilots managed to get rid of the enemy's fire control radar with a variety of skillful escape maneuvers. At the same time, our pilots also used various offensive maneuvers to make the enemy realize that if they continued to stay in China's airspace, they would most likely end up with the death of their own planes, so in the end the foreign military planes could only give up their entanglement and leave China's airspace and return home.
There are not many such things, and every time our pilots are not afraid of danger, they firmly defend our sovereign rights and dignity, and they will not retreat, never let the enemy invade even half a step forward, and will not drive the enemy troops out of our airspace.
