On April 25, GAC Aion's second-generation Aion V made its debut. The new car is based on the APE pure electric platform, which is different from the current model, adopts a new exterior design, the overall shape is more tough, the roof watchtower lidar is added, and the intelligent driving system will be upgraded.

The new car has a boxy shape with a closed front grille and split headlights, small air intakes under the headlights, a blacked-out grille on the front bumper, frameless doors on the sides and a luggage rack on the roof. The tail lights are shaped like the first-class type, and the middle of the tailgate is equipped with the word "AION" logo.
The second-generation AION V is equipped with Orin-x chip + high-threaded lidar + 5 millimeter-wave radars + 11 visual cameras, matched with the ADiGO 5.0 AI algorithm, BEV+OCC+Transformer all-round self-evolving learning and reasoning, with self-learning interactive logic. The new car is also equipped with the only 4-voice voice interaction in the same class, which can recognize multiple Chinese languages.
