On April 23, Radar Automobile launched the Radar Horizon model, with a total of 3 configurations, with a price range of 181,800-221,800 yuan, positioning a four-wheel drive pure electric super pickup. At the same time, the 2024 radar RD6 will launch two models, with an official price of 151,800-199,800 yuan, opening a new era of "electricity is lower than oil, electricity is better than oil" in the pickup truck market.

Radar Horizon was born from the M.A.P Radar Hanhai Platform, the first outdoor ecological new energy architecture in China. Different from other platforms, the M.A.P Radar Hanhai platform integrates top-notch pickup truck technology and advanced new energy passenger vehicle technology, thanks to the M.A.P Radar Hanhai platform, the radar horizon has a maximum rated load of 865kg, a carrying efficiency of more than 38%, and a super towing capacity of 3000kg. Super load-carrying and towing capacity, opening up more possibilities for outdoor travel.
The radar horizon continues the styling design of the radar RD6, with adjustments to the details, the English letters of the logo have been moved from the engine cover to the front grille position, the letters have been further amplified, and the three-section air intake has a sporty sense of this car. The Radar Horizon has 90 mm more front and rear legroom than traditional pickups for the same vehicle length, providing users with a large five-seat space experience, and the new car is 5260/1900/1880mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3120mm. The length, width and height of the cargo box are 1525/1450/540mm, and the vehicle space can reach 1200L.
The radar horizon is equipped with a high-performance permanent magnet synchronous dual electric drive system, with a maximum power of 315kW, a maximum torque of 594N·m, zero hundred acceleration in only 4.5s, a maximum speed of 190km/h, and a maximum wading depth of 815mm. With the industry-leading intelligent electric four-wheel drive technology, it brings 7 driving modes, economy, comfort, sport, snow, mud, off-road and wading, which can intelligently identify the current road conditions and automatically and quickly switch driving modes.
