Luhrmann's cinematic vision came to life on 1928 at KingsPoint, a 7.7-acre 14,551-square-foot colonial-style mansion with 13 bedrooms and 35 bathrooms.
The main building is a microcosm of Jazz Age luxury, with a wine cellar and tasting room, salon, ballroom, fitness and yoga studio, tennis and squash courts, Turkish bath, and several indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Perfect for a grand summer party in the style of Gatsby. There is even a two-storey garage for up to 9 cars.
According to Element Therapy, the property was previously owned by Russian billionaire Tamir Sapir, who died in 2014. The property went public for sale in 2015 with a list price of up to $100 million, but there were no buyers. It went public again in 2017 for "just" $85 million.
