After reading this novel, the image of a man who lost his life in vain in order to pursue beautiful love appeared in front of his eyes, and the moment he closed the book, the word "sadness" jumped on the paper, and I decided to write his story.
The story in the book ends in pessimism, but the whole process is full of hopeful expectations, the protagonist is lucky and unfortunate, he works so hard, at all costs to pursue the dream in his heart, and finally gets disappointment, a senseless sacrifice at the cost of life.
When a person is too materially abundant, it is easy to pursue spiritual satisfaction. When a person's life is too monotonous and tasteless, it is easy to fall into the trap set by others in advance because of the pursuit of passion. When one is too obsessed with one thing or one person, it is easy to fall into hell by losing one direction. All of this, Gabitz encountered, he eventually used all his wealth to dig a grave for himself.
The author Fitzgerald wrote about Gatsby, but first wrote about the insignificant little people around him, whose living environment, lifestyle, and concept of life have nothing to do with Gates. Although he repeatedly held grand parties in his home and lived a life of spending money, in his heart, he was full of sad thoughts caused by excessive thoughts, and it was this accumulated emotion that made Gatsby look like an airborne soldier, from outside the sky, landing on the earth, stained with a copper stench, and gave up his life in vain, along with his dreams.
