[CNMO News] On January 20, Forbes released the 2022 Top 25 Charity Rich in the United States, with a total donation of up to $169 billion so far, an increase of $10 billion compared with $149 billion last year, and an increase of $150 billion over last year, an average increase of 18% per person, and a total net worth of up to $1.1 trillion. In addition, a total of 17 people signed the "Pledge of Giving," pledging to donate at least half of their assets to charity in their lifetime or after death, but only Chuck Fini and Soros have so far accomplished this goal.

Warren Buffett ranked first in the list, with a net worth of $115.6 billion and a cumulative donation of $46.1 billion, of which about $2 billion to $3 billion worth of stocks each year were donated to bill and melinda French Gates foundations for poverty alleviation and health care programs in developing countries; Bill Gates ranked second, with a net worth of $133.3 billion and $6.1 billion, respectively, with a cumulative donation of $33.4 billion, almost all of which were donated through Bill and Melinda Gates. The Gates Foundation made $5.8 billion in grants last year.
George Soros ranked third with a net worth of $8.6 billion and $18.1 billion in donations; Michael Bloomberg ranked fourth with a net worth of $70 billion and a cumulative endowment of $12.7 billion, promising in December 2021 to support charter schools in 20 U.S. urban areas by $750 million over the next five years.
