Like every handmade sports car from Wiesmann, the Project Thunderball has the brand's signature long nose, short tail vintage look, as well as an elegant four-round headlight set with well-defined front/rear leaf sheets, a spoiler duck tail added to the upper edge of the tail, and an electric soft-top convertible mechanism.
In the two-seater cockpit, Project Thunderball is not only equipped with two diamond-check leather-clad carbon fiber sports car seats, a full-digital dashboard, and a three-spoke, suede-covered multi-function steering wheel, but also continues the brand's tradition, with 7 digital display tables in the center console, and a touch-set audio and video information screen below.
In terms of performance, project Thunderball uses a system developed in conjunction with Roding Automobile, with two rear-end electric motors capable of producing a maximum horsepower of 680 hp (PS) and 1100 Nm. With maximum torque in metres, combined with a weight of around 1,700 kilograms, Wiesmann estimates that the Project Thunderball in a rear-wheel-drive layout will accelerate from stationary to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds.
In addition, the Project Thunderball equipped with an 800V charging architecture is equipped with a 92kWh battery, estimated to have a maximum range of 500 kilometers, and is equipped with a five-segment adjustable Wiesmann Intelligent Regenerative Braking System intelligent recharge system, which allows the driver to switch settings through the paddles behind the steering wheel.
Wiesmann also said that Project Thunderball will also adhere to the "100% Made in Germany" and "all handmade" founding mission, will be produced at the Gecko plant in Dülmen, Germany, and only 1,000 lucky people will have the opportunity to join the world.
