For foreign students, writing Chinese characters is indeed a difficult point in the process of learning Chinese. However, the strokes and neat handwriting on the entries show the contestants' seriousness and love for learning Chinese and writing Chinese characters. Some of the works are also accompanied by cute pictures, which are pleasing to the eye.

The Chinese Calligraphy Competition is one of the events to welcome World Chinese Day. On April 19, the Confucius Institute of Fushi University also actively participated in the "Together" Children's Tourism Festival organized by the All-Russian Tourism Administration, and held cultural experience activities with Chinese characteristics such as calligraphy, paper cutting, and origami for local children, which attracted many local children to participate.
