This requirement undoubtedly solves a great problem for consumers, and when installing trailers in the later stage, it can be omitted to install trailer bars, so that consumers can use the car more worry-free and hassle-free. In addition, in the implementation requirements, it is also introduced that the models that have applied for the announcement can complete the supplement of vehicle information by changing the extension.
At the time of the announcement of the application for pickup trucks with traction capacity and traction qualifications known to us, only the total mass of the quasi-trailer was generally added, but many pickup trucks in the model appearance description (optional photo) were not equipped with the original trailer bar. This causes the car to have traction qualifications, but consumers still need to install a traction device if they want to tow it, which will increase the risk of "illegal modification" on the one hand, and increase the cost of modification on the other hand.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology clearly requires in the notice that when applying for product access for light vehicle models with traction functions, the maximum allowable traction quality should be filled in the "Quasi-Trailer Total Mass (kg)" column of the "Announcement", filled in in the "XXX, 0" method, and provide photos of vehicles with and without relevant traction special devices installed in the "Optional Photos", and file traction device information at the filing parameters "Special Device Name", "Special Device Model", "Special Device Manufacturer"; The column indicates the correspondence between the length of the vehicle and the installation of a special device for traction.
This places higher demands on car companies: if you produce a model with a traction qualification, you must have a model with a trailer bar. This not only makes the traction capacity of the relevant models clear, but also eliminates the troubles of consumers in the later stage, so that pickup truck friends can get a model with an "original trailer bar" when they buy a car, and ultimately benefit the buyer.
In addition, the notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also has room for changes to models that have been announced and have traction quality but do not have traction devices: for light vehicle products with traction functions that have been announced, if the vehicle products that have been produced cannot be towed trailers in the design and manufacture, the supplement of vehicle information can be completed by changing and expanding, and the start and end production dates of such products should also be stated in the "Other" column.
This also gives a buffer to models that are currently ready to be launched or on sale and discontinued, and if the car has a traction qualification but does not have a towing device, it can be supplemented by changes and extensions to facilitate subsequent sales.
