Originally an OEM background manufacturer, NAON has developed a wealth of experience in complex environments, rapidly changing trends and technologies. With product-to-market matching as the core of its production activities, the team creates simple solutions for complex scenarios, providing relevant solutions from initial design to overall brand planning for marketing and sales. The product design takes simplicity as the core, using the main functional components as key styling elements to help simplify the product modeling, focus more on the product itself, and make the functional parts perform better in performance and aesthetics after fine-tuning.

Minimalist design

Its design is said to have been inspired by a historic German school. At first glance, the bland appearance seems to be only the transparent windshield under the handle that gives the vehicle the only novel design element, but it has a linear and smooth appearance, a streamlined silhouette and a flat single-seat setup.

Naon said the design was influenced by the Bauhaus philosophy, which subordinated form to function, with structural components as the core, and designed this simple body with both style and advantages, suitable for those who do not like ornate and pursue classic lines. The vehicle is made of an aluminum frame, using recyclable materials, a combination of high-quality and durable components, and has a small footprint.

Super high speed

The most striking thing about this electric car is its high speed, and the vehicle is available in two models – the L1e and L3e. Offering moderate horsepower and a top speed of 45 mph, the L1e is perfect for urban commuters who just need to get around town. And for those who demand more, the L3e may be a better fit, with a powerful 7,000-watt electric motor that reaches a staggering 100 km/h top speed, making it one of the fastest electric scooters on the market. Of course you can limit the speed to 45km/h to use as a moped.

Long battery life

The Zero-One is powered by a 2.4kWh battery and can travel about 25 miles on a single charge. If you want to go further, you can add a second battery to double the mileage. You can choose to buy or rent batteries to charge at home or in the office. The batteries sit under the foldable foot pedals and can be fully charged within about 90 minutes of removal. The top-of-the-range vehicle has a range of 140 km, a 7 kW motor and two removable batteries for a total charge of 4.8 kWh.

The Zero One is supported by an aluminum frame with a dollar fork at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear. The frame and body panels are made of recyclable, durable materials. AbS-assisted front and rear disc brakes perform braking tasks. The battery pack is underneath a thick paddle that keeps the scooter's center of gravity very low, improving ride stability, and in terms of functionality, Zero One does not provide a dedicated instrument console, but instead uses a handlebar-mounted rider's smartphone to get riding information. Since the battery is mounted under the floor, which leaves space under the seat, there is plenty of storage space for electric vehicles.

The base price of the L1e model without batteries is about $5,625, while the faster L3e will cost you $7,340. Get batteries for a one-time purchase of $1,140 or $28 per month for rent. Production is scheduled to begin this year. If Naon were to enter our market, would you consider buying one?
