On April 24, Hongqi LS7 was officially unveiled and opened for pre-sale. The new car is positioned as a luxury full-size SUV, with a 2+2 4-seat layout, a length of nearly 5.7 meters, and the overall size is even larger than rolls-Royce Cullinan. In terms of power, the LS7 is equipped with a 4.0T V8 turbocharged engine with a maximum power of up to 265 kW.
As the brand's flagship SUV, the appearance of Hongqi LS7 continues the family design language, the front face adopts a large vertical strip chrome grille, the center is the iconic red logo, and the light group adopts a split design, which is full of momentum. The side of the car is dignified and atmospheric, and the wheel rim cover is equipped with the exclusive sunflower logo of the Hongqi L series model, highlighting the identity. The rear is equipped with an inverted U-shaped through-line light cluster, and the lamp cavity adopts the sunflower petal shape design to increase the recognition of the whole vehicle.
The Hongqi LS7 car adopts two-color color matching, supplemented by gold elements and wood grain decoration, highlighting the luxurious sense of the car. In terms of configuration, the new car has a double-width retro steering wheel, a full LCD instrument, and electronic gear handles. The second row is equipped with two independent seats with leg rests, seat heating/ventilation, seat memory, electric adjustment and other functions to ensure the comfort of the rear seat.
Xu Liuping, chairman of the board of directors and secretary of the party committee of China FAW, said that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Hongqi brand strives to sell more than one million after five years of struggle, enter the first camp of global high-end brands, and create a world-class main body development pattern. With the addition of LS7, it is one step closer to achieving the goal of the Hongqi brand.
