During the S12 season, the designers released the new shooter hero Zeli, as well as the new auxiliary hero Renata. Now, it's time to reveal the new heroes coming up in the next version.
Today's Fist designers shared the blueprint of the new hero, which not only included the new hero breaking news, but also the redo work progress of several veteran heroes:
According to Fist's previous plan, it was intended to introduce six new heroes every year, one new hero each in the four positions of up the road, the field, and the lower road, and two in the middle road, including the assassin and the mage hero.
However, the Fist designer later said that he would slow down the production of new heroes, ensuring that each hero could get enough time and attention before going online. I'm not sure I'll be able to get a few new heroes online this year, but it should be similar to last year.

A new world:
Don't close your eyes, the Hero Design team will soon bring something new, something beautiful, inevitable, and predicted. Prepared for all wild players, a guerrilla warrior wild hero is coming, bringing everything to her new queen, including you.
Those who volunteer to do so will be rewarded and become part of an ever-expanding ocean of lavender, crashing into enemy defenses like waves, succumbing to the Empress, and dedicating everything you have to her so that you may become part of the entirely new evolution of the Rune Earth. If you truly succumb to her, you will see her true grace, true beauty, and true... Void Face.
Who wouldn't want that? I've joined in January, and although there's no cake reward, I'm happy to do it, what are you waiting for?
Happy Hour:
Next, the Hero Design team hopes that everyone will come to Oyster Bill's cabin and listen to the Oyster Bill legend while also tasting the best oysters in the Rune Land!
In fact, it was a mess just last night when we passed by here. The table fell, the bottle shattered, and the ejection was all strange light, according to Oyster Bill, the result of a brightly colored and deadly stranger who had crossed the other side of the ocean to get here.
He claimed that the Noxus were very noisy and rudely and savage to knock over the oysters of strangers. The colorful people stood up from the table and let out the happiest laughter. The Noxus looked dazed at first, then thought it was a stranger who was laughing at her. The gang picked up the guy, and the fight was about to break out, and the tension and mist suddenly enveloped the entire restaurant. Bill said all he heard was loud laughter and splashing water. After the mist cleared, ten heavily armed Noxus men were dead, and strangers were missing.
When Bill told us the whole story, we all laughed. Of course, this is just an occasional brawl scene at the bar, and it doesn't find it funny. But when another customer doubted the story, Bill insisted it was true. And the stranger was upstairs in the restaurant, and if anyone wanted to meet him, they were always welcome.
Nothing happened that night, but who knows. Maybe next time you'll join us, and we can go and see if this colorful stranger is real.
Udir Redo:
The basic design of Udir has been completed, and now the main focus is on his skin, with a focus on the soul guard this ultimate skin. We really want to give this skin more attention and dedication to make him the ultimate skin that lives up to its name.
One of the goals of the redo was to retain the essence of the old version of Udir, so it also represented the period during which he trained in Ionian, and would also add the same animal elements (tiger, bear, turtle, phoenix) as before the Udir VGU, and possibly increase to up to 11 species. Without revealing too much, here's an early preview of the model:
Aurelian Saul redoed:
When Aurelian Saul was first released, many players were very interested in it, which made it the hottest new hero of the beginning. Many people want to play the role of a huge and arrogant Starry Sky Dragon. Unfortunately, we weren't able to bring a gameplay that matched the player's excitement, as a lot of people gave up on the hero after a few games. Its BP rate has been drastically reduced, and it has been the same ever since. Whenever we solicited a list of heroes who needed to be redone, Aurelian Saul was always in the top ten, even though its gameplay was always at the bottom.
After a discussion, we felt that we should completely change its gameplay, and we decided to try a new type of update: CGU (Comprehensive Gameplay Update). CUG will update two types of heroes:
1: The art and background are high-quality online, but the gameplay can no longer realize the player's fantasy hero;
2: There are complex gameplay problems that cannot be solved by changing one or two skills (such as Tam's medium-sized changes).
We'll build hero gameplay from the ground up using the same model, theme, and background. Aurelian Saul was the first CGU hero, and if the effect works well, more heroes may be added in the future.
Back to Aurelian Saul, our goal is to provide it with a whole new set of skill sets, big changes similar to VGU (e.g. Whagat, Sairn), while still ensuring consistency in the theme.
There is currently a plan to bring a brand new Aurelian Saul at some point in the end of the year, and it is truly hoped that the player's previous fantasies about the starry sky will be realized.
Skaner Redo:
It's not officially getting started yet (but it will be on soon), but that certainly won't stop BravoRay from doing some sketches to find inspiration.
The first two rows are an attempt to preserve The Skaner's consistency with the current theme, but add more fantasy elements to make it more distinctive in the hero list.
The third row is to explore the ancient guardians of the ancient Shurima civilization before it disappeared into the Yellow Sands, which is made of crystals and contains the souls of thousands of elite warriors.
The fourth row is an extended exploration of the current Skania backstory, which we haven't committed to yet. But in those versions, it was captured by Piltwolf and experimented with to create a Hex Guardian that they could control. Skaner recovered his memory and fled Piltwolf. Because of what Piltwolf had done to it and his people, it was determined to destroy the city. Now with Hex's enhanced technology, Pietrov will soon taste the consequences of his own making.
Note that these are all initial crazy ideas from BravoRay that can't be determined yet.
We'll share the development logs for players after the Skaner redo begins to introduce its gameplay and background. I also want players to come up with their own ideas for these explorations and see if there's anything to look forward to.
This is the end of the news, and I will stop here today. Hopefully, you'll be looking forward to and excited about the next new heroes, and we'll be releasing a new Hero Blueprint later this year that will introduce Nazuma Pride, a high-skilled road-going tank hero. This is an area from The Undetermined Area of Shurima, see you soon!
