The mechanics of the "Shaping Spell" are explained in detail
Each Spell Cast companion spawns a spell card that shapes spells each turn.
Spell card effects that shape spells only last until the next recruitment phase. So you need to make choices for each turn about how to take advantage of these effects during the battle phase.
Spell cards that shape spells disappear from your hand at the end of the turn - if you don't use them, you'll lose them!
Spell cards that shape spells are generated immediately after the use of the Spell Companion, as well as at the beginning of each recruitment stage.
If the hand is full, the spell card that shapes the spell "waits" for the hand to make room, rather than being destroyed directly or delaying the turn.
The Golden Shaping Spell Companion will produce a golden version of the spell card, which will also be doubled in effect.
Some Nagas will be more concerned about when you use spell cards, including crafting spell cards, as well as coinage, blood gems, and triple rewards.
In the first two weeks after the patch, Naga appears in every battle. They then go into normal Companion Type rotation. The number of companion types available per match will not change in this patch, except that there is one more companion type in the audience.

Isara's ambitions
Passive. When your clan reaches a total of 30 attack damage, start the Naga Expedition.
Upon initiating the Naga Expedition, Queen Isara transforms into The Naga Queen Isara and acquires a new hero skill.

Shellfish collector
[Tavern Level 1, Naga] 3 attack damage, 1 health. War Roar: Place a coin in your hand.
Deep sea anglers
[Tavern Level 2, Naga] 2 attack damage, 2 health. Shaping Spells: Until the next turn, make a minion gain +3 health and taunts.
Snail cavalry
[Tavern level 2, Naga] 5 attack damage, 2 health. Once per turn: After you cast a spell, you gain +2 health.
Lava lurkers
[Tavern level 2, Naga] 2 attack damage, 5 health. The first spell card cast by this minion per turn is permanently valid.
Thunder-scaled Kraken
[Tavern Level 3, Naga] 5 Attack Damage, 4 Health. At the end of your turn, your Shaping Spell Companion will unleash its spell on itself.
Beachhead Commander
[Tavern Level 3, Naga] 2 Attack Damage, 2 Health. Shaping Spells: Until the next turn, each friendly Naga makes a minion gain +1/+1.
Avenger Pashma
[Tavern level 3, Naga] 4 attack damage, 5 health. Revenge (3): Get a spell card that shapes spells at your current level or lower.
Rider of the Waves
[Tavern level 4, Naga] 2 attack damage, 8 health. Shaping Spells: Until the next turn, make a minion gain +1/+1 and Wind Fury.
Nippori Barbarians
[Tavern Level 4, Naga] 5 Attack Damage, 4 Health. After you cast a spell, you get +1/+1.
Eel binding archers
[Tavern Level 4, Naga] 4 Attack Damage, 4 Health. Shaping Spells: Until the next turn, make a minion gain +8 attack damage.
Reef explorers
[Tavern level 4] 3 attack damage, 3 health. Battle Roar: Discover a Companion type Companion card that you don't yet have.
Mangshen Train King
[Tavern level 5] 6 attack damage, 2 health. Dead Words: Destroy the minions that kill Ben's minions.
Small animal caregiver
[Tavern Level 5, Naga] 5 Attack Damage, 7 Health. After you cast a spell shaping spell on a minion, make it gain +2/+2.
Corrupted squire
[Tavern level 5, Naga] 2 attack damage, 2 health. When the battle starts: The companion's stat value is doubled.
Flashing Scale Naga
[Tavern level 5, Naga] 4 attack damage, 6 health. Taunt. Shaping Spells: Until the next turn, make an entourage get the Holy Shield.
Tidal Master Mother Aziza
[Tavern Level 6, Naga] 7 Attack Damage, 8 Health. After you cast a spell, the four friendly Nagas gain +1/+1.
Caretaker Ogozoa
[Tavern Level 6] 5 Attack Damage, 9 Health. Shaping Spells: Discover a Naga card.
Dark eyes on the elderly
[Tavern level 6, Boar Man] 6 attack damage, 7 health. After you spend 4 coins, use a Blood Gem on each of the four friendly Boar People.
Mantis Demon Queen
[Tavern level 6] 5 attack damage, 5 health. Highly toxic. When the battle starts: For each Minion type you have, you get one from Wind Fury, Holy Shield, Taunt, or +5/+5.
Small blindness
[Tavern Level 6, Fishman] 8 Attack Damage, 5 Health. At the end of your turn, the adjacent Fishman triggers its war roar.
Companion pool changes
The Warriors of the Aces, the Deadly Spores, the Fusion Trolls, the Seafood Feeder, and the Fangs Captain have been removed from the Companion Pool.
The Nightmare Fusion Monster returns to the Companion Pool and is now Tavern Level 3.
The Thornback Knight returns to the Minions Pool and now has 5 Attack Damage.
